Saldana should be thankful. Of all the illegal knee endings we've seen, that mightve been the worst. Woodson was already basically out, then flush knee to the top of the skull, then undefended follow up punches while the ref was telling him to stop.

That was such a weird ass fight. Woodson looking weirdly terrible, Saldana being a troll after the knockdowns, the rare occurrence of scoring of a submission as meaning something, all beautifully tied together to finish in a split draw. Kinda feel Saldana shoulda got it tbh, but hey, he did it to himself.

Saldana clearly won the "fight", but I could easily see Woodson getting rounds 2 and 3 just on the cleaner shots (of very sloppy shots) while Saldana started going backwards.

Here's why Saldana won that: 9-8 first round (the literal RAREST scorecard ever), round 2 10-9 Woodson, and round 3 10-9 Saldana. First could've been 9-9 but Luis hurt him BADLY/ Dropped him twice. I think he won the fight

I think rd 3 was clear for Woodson, landed much cleaner shots, won the grappling scramble at the end even if they were gonna look at that for some reason.
