Kang tough to finish. His style and willingness to fight other people at there strengths puts him a lot of close fights throughout his ufc career but I’m a fan.  He’s underrated IMO I thought thught he won that one clearly but maybe I’m biased.

I like malkoun I just think he’s too new to the game and therefore too one dimensional in his approach, I’ll be surprised if he can do anything to Brendan on the ground and Brendan’s striking is improving constantly despite a few tko losses

Against Rani Yahya, Kang showed poor fight IQ. But against Batgerel he showed a very high Fight IQ and managed to dominate the power puncher in the striking, although he was hurt at the end of the first round, Kang managed to move, capitalize with the jab, land good overhands when Batgerel was looking for rush and also land good hooks. . The faces after the fight were evidence: Kang pieces Bategerel, clear 29-28 for Mr. Perfect.

I think it was really close. Was looking at Kang live line all the way through but didn't quite get there for me as I wasn't sure what judges would see in rd 2 and 3. Tough spot when 2 rounds have to go your way. Only crystal clear rd was first imo.
