3 months ago wrestlers/Grapplers who got take downs and control time would easily win fights.
As of the last 2 months I think they are now going totally the other way, takedowns and control time are not being scored, even if you control someone for the whole round and he gets up and lands 2 punches the grappler will lose.
Of course they don't stick to their own rules (Eg Aljamain "winning" over Yan) and that inconsistency in implementing the rules and the constant changing of criteria (despite having a "fixed MMA ruleset") makes it pointless to bet and even pick MMA anymore.
You can be the best fighter by far on the day, win 2 out of 3 rounds or even all 3 rounds and lose like Miranda Maverick or so many others recently. Worse recent example was Alex Da Silva who should have gotten a draw, and he ended up getting cut from the UFC and losing his career. It's terrible bro, and I really feel for the fighters.
As for myself, I now bet tennis and cricket and I am making some good money betting tennis matches to go over 20 rounds lol.
