It does not make a jot of difference, MMA judges suck more than any other officials in any other sport.

There is no clear scoring criteria, some judges follow MMA rules, some dont. Some follow the rules one day and not the next. It is corrupt. Simple as that.
I bet bets for a split decision were pretty good somewhere and someone made a pile of cash from it.

Blatant rigging worse than boxing imo which does not happen every event. With MMA it's absolutely every card often multiple fights.
Best example is the Tibau vs Rory McDonald fight from recent memory. If that's not fixing a scorecard I do not know what is.
MMA is worse than boxing.

In a judges' scorecards the criteria that defines how to score the fights, is how the judges practically want to interpret the fight. The perfect example is the last fight Choi put up a fight and he has heart but there is no way he would have won the first and second rounds.
PS: Choi vs. Culibao is clearly the FOTN and unless something too spectacular happens on the main card for both of them not to receive 50K checks would be a questionable decision on the part of the promotion.

And seriously? Giving that fight to Choi would be due to inexperience? Cmon bro, you and I scored that properly.

The problem isn't the criteria. The problem is Judges applying the criteria.
