Of course he's a ********. I don't think I've known anyone, myself included, who wasn't a total cringe wanker at age 17. It's like being drunk beyond the point of self-awareness even when you're sober.
I have met a few who believe they weren't young ********s. And I firmly believe they were probably the worst of all.
Edit: ******.

Anyway, I knew I'd definitely get a hard-on and everyone would see it and I would basically never live it down.
So in Math's B I faked a stomach upset, and instead of going to the sick bay--knowing that everybody would be in class, I veered off and took a **** in the pool. Then went to the sick bay.
Fortune favours the brave. It was a floater.
No other class was scheduled to use the pool that day, so when it came to water volleyball and we were all ready to go dive in, I quickly reported that I'd 'found' a turd in the pool, and reported that somebody had taken a **** in it to the teacher.
Pool got shut down that day. I was never discovered. And the roster got changed, and I didn't have to partner with the hottie, thus avoiding the boner for all time.
I do not regret it. I'd do it again, and I feel neither ashamed nor unburdened as a consequence of this catharsis. It has meant nothing.
