And how the guy keeps coming back week after week for more. Self awareness is not a strong point.

I have nothing against they guy myself, but I find the comments on here hillarious

I agree 100 percent!  These women are warriors and I respect the hell out of everyone of them just like the men.  I don't particularly want to see some Fallon Fox transgender fighter beating on women per se, but I enjoy watching the women's events just as much as the men's events when they are electric.  Sure the women's divisions have absolute boring can kickers just like the men do, but it doesn't have to do with gender.  It has to do with match making and the skill level of those fighters.  Look at at least 3 of the last 4 women's UFC MMA fights. Rodriguez/Xioanan last weekend, Cachoeira/Kim, and Nunes/Pascual.  Those were very competitive and entertaining fights.  I didn't include the Agapova fight because I think she is a busted product that lacks focus and maturity, but even that fight showcased brilliant dominance by Moroz during a very stressful time for her.  So really, you can argue the women have been 4 for 4 in the last 4 matches (although we were probably saved by not having to watch Goldy vs Frey).  You can argue that the men have had more boring fights by ratio.  Either way, I love watching the ladies showcase their skill and/or toughness.

That being said, I still can't bet on the damn thing.  As you stated wonderfully, these ladies are so close in skill/toughness as a whole that these matches end up being toss ups!  And even when a Cyborg, Harrison, Amanda Nunes, or Shevchenko fight seems like a sure thing at -800 or more, one of the ladies busts your parlays.  It's great to watch but just not so great for my wallet!

Baldric on Moraes

Predictions: 11 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 655 Points   |   Tied for 420th

I agree that Song isn't a lock.  I think there is only one true "lock" on this card.  But let's be honest, Moraes has been taking a beating.  Yeah, he almost knocked out Merab but holy crap.  After he unloaded any bit of cardio fiber in his body, he took over 140 unanswered shots for 6 minutes of fight time uninterrupted because 1.) Keith Peterson is a psychopath and 2.) he is completely shot as a fighter mentally and physically.  Does anyone talk about the scary nuclear power of Merab Dvalishvili?  Those are not traits that I have heard about him before.  Ever since he changed camps to American Top Team he subs Assunção just after moving over and then goes 1-4.  And let's be honest, the judges gift wrapped the Aldo win.  He just hasn't been the same Magic Marlon since he faced Cejudo.  And he hasn't just lost either.  All four of those losses are vicious knockout shots or beatings.  How can anyone feel confident putting a penny on Moraes after what Song Yadong did to a rather sturdy Julio Arce, who had NEVER been close to knocked out before?  So to your point, is Yadong a lock?  No, I would say he is not.  Moraes still has magic in those hands.  I think the bigger question is, "How much time does Moraes have to make magic happen?  2 minutes? 3 minutes?  Will Moraes go for broke and blow his radiator?".  Because I can tell you right now that Song Yadong has 15 minutes of cardio, power, speed, agility, and can knock anyone out in any one of those rounds in that division.  If Moraes gets Yadong out within the first round, I won't be shocked and will come back giving him all the praise and glory.  But after that 1st round, Yadong has all of the advantages.  That is why I am backing Yadong over Moraes.

Hello bro! I am not impressed with
Kris Moutinho for being punching-ball of O'Malley.

Bruno Silva is significantly more experienced as an MMA fighter with 29 pro fights, while Pereira has fought just 5 times.

Rountree has been so inconsistent in his career.

Marlon Moraes could very well be fighting for his job on Saturday night

Caceres heads to this bout on the strength of a five-bout winning streak.

Surprise night

@crimson that is true but in the Marc Andre fight, even though he lost, his cardio looked much improved. He’s not really a fighter that’s going to make waves at all but he looked much better since changing camps

Hard to go anywhere but up if you change camp from that big black guy with rastas holding a finger up in the air during walkouts. As you can tell I'm quite ignorant about who it is, he just always struck me as a **** corner from watching tons of fights.
Edit: Nevermind I'm getting him mixed up with someone else. Anyway I like the move to Sanford for Lungiambula, he just needs to learn to pace himself.

It's an interesting fight. I think both guys will have improved. Dalcha as he is getting more training from top gyms will hopefully start taking off a little bit of power from his shots so that he's not doing a 360 swing every time. He can still try to find moments for his ridiculous explosiveness to land takedowns or catch his opponent off guard.

Brundage has more to show I feel. In the contender series fight Herb Dean did him dirty by stressing him to give up full back mount by threatening to stand them up after Brundage had already been in a position where he almost could get a finish. I guess Dean had a bet on Knight? Brundage tries to adjust the position to not get stood up and Knight gets out in the ensuing scramble then finishes Brundage with some questionable elbows that looked borderline back of the head. Then Brundage takes a short notice fight against Maximov where he is outwrestled but still wins the third round.

Very tough to call and not a fight I would prebet but I lean slightly Brundage here. I think he is a bit more measured and technical in his striking and a better wrestler. Dalcha is more explosive though. I think this fight might have some back and forths.

Sup, brotha.

I'm certainly not trying to dissuade your assessment.  I think there is a very good chance you will be right about a few of them.  I especially like the value of Roberson over Rountree.  It is just that Moutinho/Cannetti is such low level MMA that nothing would shock me there.  Pereira/Santos is nuclear power meets serious nuclear power, so that one is unpredictable, as well.  I really think Caceres has a shot to get the upset, as well.  I do not think Moraes will defeat Song Yadong though.  I could easily be wrong.  But all Yadong has to do is last 3 minutes and it is his fight to win.

Good luck!

I personally think 205 is a way better fit for Roberson than 185. He’s also fighting the most inconsistent fighter on the roster so all depends what version shows up

Yeah lol. And on the other hand you have Roberson who has some pretty bad fight iq. As long as he’s not facing a wrestler he should be able to do his thing

Roberson vs Rountree is a pickem, basically. They're both so inconsistent, it's impossible to be confident on either of them.

One thing I really don't like for Roberson is how mega-heavy he is on his lead leg and how good Khalil's kicks are, especially that oblique kick to the knee which probably destroyed a good portion of Bukauksas' career. If it stays standing I definitely favour rountree. Roberson needs to initiate some grappling.

I think Roberson might; kind of like when he fought kopylov. Roberson is okay when he’s the one engaging the grappling. He also switched camps to glory but as we’ve seen, James Krause + bad iq fighters almost never works. However, they may just kickbox one another  for 3 rounds
