I didn't think it was that bad on the scale for Saldana but even so, I can't bank on his cardio being improved.  More than that, I hate how passive Souza is as a fighter.  That is just not a match I will have a dime on or any interest in wagering. If forced to make a pick, I would eat the chalk at -190 FGTD or something of that nature.

I'm gonna wait until the faceoffs before I make my final decision on Souza Saldana, it starts soon right?

To bet or not to bet I mean, I definitely will keep Saldana as the pick overall Souza has just done nothing to impress me and has a style that seems to match up terribly vs Saldana.

Btw KKF is now up to +361 at Pinnacle. I'm considering betting more on him.

I thought Saldana and Brown looked rough. Also, I’m pretty sure the Ohio AC calibrated that scale a half pound light. I’ve never seen so many on the mark weigh ins. They always tell you to hit .5 under the one pound limit on your scale to account for any variance. But hey, maybe everyone woke up today and was like, “let’s all be professionals about this.”

Yeah Brown looked like he gassed walking on to the scale. But even if they subtracted half a pound from everyone you would think they should weigh in half a pound then under the limit and not one pound if it was a brutal weight cut.

Idk I can get Saldana as a dog right now and I'm confident that he will win the 1st round which if true will put Souza at +200 or +300. Could just arb it in that situation by putting a bet on Souza if it looks like Saldana gasses. If anyone gets an early finish it's Saldana too I think.

>I’ve never seen so many on the mark weigh ins

I swear the same thing happened at like a Brazil or Abu Dhabi card, everyone walking off the scale was xx5 or xx6, no .5lbs or anything. I mean I guess it can happen, but yeah it just looks very suspect.

My opinion of Saldana is the same as when I bet against Smolka his last time out. Sure, Gutierrez wasn’t impressive to me, and nor is Bruno Silva. But by god did Smolka suck and I was so confident in that, so when I got dog odds to bet against him I will always hit that. I got Bruno at even money which isn’t as tempting, but it’s just so easy to fade Saldana.

Well lines are still moving up on Saldana and KKF, the ones I'm eyeing atm. I agree that Maia looked bad too but I never expected anything from her to begin wth in the fight.

Also, Bruno took that Melsik fight in 7 days notice. Made weight, and stood in front of a legitimately seasoned kickboxer for 3 rounds. Sure, stylistically Bruno has a worse style for Saldana then he did for Melsik, but Melsik would starch Saldana 9/10 times.

Yeah, they are both good fighters.  Really good fighters... in the grand scheme of things.  At the UFC level, this is just a middling match at best.  Pure filler with no frills.  I want nothing to do with investing in either side lol.

Souza doesn't exactly have 4-Cylinder Toyota Prius cardio either.  It's a better tank than Saldana for sure but he has looked gassed before.  This has to go to decision.  I don't see either finishing the other.

I think he looked a bit drained with blotchy skintones to his face. I don't remember if he usually has a lazy eye which always adds to that impression but he had a lazy eye in this one.

I didn't see oleinik coming in 10-15lbs heavier than usual. And latifi a few lbs lighter.

Imo that just accentuates Oleinik's first round or bust potential. That's more muscle to squeeze with but it's also going to be more intensive on the cardio, and more muscle to recover by laying down in the ******* octagon with his feet up, gasping for air for like he was in am action movie and got caught on some rocks underwater and then manages to free himself just in time to go up to the surface before he drowns.
