I think it funny how some  MMA fans don't understand that a close fight is not a robbery, It just a close fight, It just that the judges have a different opinion then you, Both are equally valid, Both aren't wrong,Just because you disagree with the judge, Don't make they're  opinion invalid, Also they are rarely robbery, Judges aren't usually wrong, Barber vs Maverick is what I call a robbery, How the **** could you give Maycee two round still baffle me, But 90% or so called 'robbery' ain't like that, They just close fights

Parision vs Roque was a close fight, Not a robbery, It was a split decsion type fight , Judges have a diffrent, Equally valid opinion then you, This post also goes for the people who crying that Weili got robbed, It get annoying IMO

You thought 5-0 Rose was a valid scorecard for the Weili rematch, you’re the one who should learn what a robbery is.

I never score it 5-0 Rose tho, I had it 3-2 Rose, I think your proving my point, The first 3 rounds was close though, I thought Weili won 2, And Rose won one of them, My point is saying that it could of been 5-0,4-1-,3-2 Rose or 3-2 Weili all being valid score card is the first 3 rounds was somewhat debatable, And I think the MMA comunty are divided who won them, And that my point, Debatable round and round robbery are 2 different things

Also haven’t watch it in a month, maybe Weili clearly won of those round, but it a fact that the 3-2 Rose people are divided in which of the first 3 rounds she won, the 4-1 Rose make sense if you think about it that way

People were complaining about the 4-1 scorecard and you’re saying 5-0 would’ve been fine lol. You also said 3-2 Felder was a better scorecard than 5-0 RDA when the only round you could give to Felder is the fourth. You probably have the worst scorecards on tap

I also just don’t think you get what I’m saying it kinda frustrating because I think the point I’m making is not wrong, I just to Autistic to make it probley and people are getting mad

I’m saying and I’m a victim of it too, your scorecard Aren’t the objective correct one, fight can be debatable sometimes,

I scored it 49-46 or 48-47 RDA, i can’t remember is was a year ago since I watch the fight

Betting odds are weird. Melissa Gatto is considered an underdog? In what ******* dimension??? Bizzaro World??? Same logic with Paddy Pimblett being considered even next to Luigi Vendramini and Da Un Jung an underdog against Kennedy. Betters really don’t give a **** about the sport

@Sabbath, it's not the bettors who make the lines, it's the bookies (las vegas) themselves.  Out of all the sports that exist, the bookies have the least experience with MMA in terms of how they price the lines which is why MMA is the most financially lucrative sport to bet on. Sure, bettors can definiately influence line movement but the line begins where the bookies originally price them as.

I'm actually curious about who exactly creates these betting lines in the first place.  What age group or demographic are they?  How much research do they exactly do to price these lines?  How much are the organizations involved in helping them set the lines?

Who knows? As far as I know, the guys who make the betting lines is a room full of chimps, ******* their keyboards with their faces. In a weird way, I do appreciate the oversights these bookies do, cause it gives me a moment of clarity where I see a certain matchup every once in a while with odds that make me go “Really? That much?” and bet on the dog.

I think it's more of the fact gatto has some questionable draws that should have been losses, and then only 1 UFC fight against a girl who isn't that good. Against someone whose been at this level at the weight class above for a while. She should be the betting underdog with that considered, its a big step up, but this definitely could be a break through performance spot like blanchfield the other week and will then on get the betting lines respect.

Agreed. I have a set of gambling dice for when I just want to bet something to make it interesting. I assigned the six sides to sub/ko/points for each fighter and just give it a roll. A few weeks back it hit five times in a row.
