I'm honestly shocked Nzechukwu vs Da Un Jung is even odds. Jung looked horrible against Alvey and arguably was gifted a draw against a man who was coming in on a four fight losing streak and would go on to lose two more. Nzechukwu on the other hand has looked really good in his last three fights. Is there something I'm not seeing in Jung?

Wouldn't really say Kennedy looked too good in the Stosic and Marques fights. The Stosic fight was just plain awful and Marques had his back for 2 rounds and just gassed and got finished.

Maybe calling the Stosic fight really good is a bit hyperbole, good might be too, but I thought he did good against Marques didn't over extend, stayed calm and rode it out and found the finish like he needed too.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 1944th

Holloway vs. Rodriguez
Max Holloway, TKO, R3
Holloway will put it on Rodriguez this will not go 5 rounds. Can't see Rodriguez getting a KO on Holloway's granite chin but if he wins has to be like a body kick to some heavy punches or elbows.

Rothwell vs. Rogério de Lima
Ben Rothwell, TKO, R2
Rothwell is a pretty smart dude wherever he sees easiest is where he will take it, still debating on SUB or KO.

Spencer vs. Letson
Felicia Spencer, DEC
Letson has not been in the cage for basically 3 years, Spencer is pretty decent, has fought killers and never gave up on herself. + has fought for a belt..

Dolidze vs. Daukaus
Kyle Daukaus, SUB, R2
Dolidze gases out and grappling is a problem. Think Daukaus will wear him out getting the late finish on the ground either in the late 2nd round or mid 3rd.

Song vs. Arce
Yadong Song, DEC
Think Arce will play into Yadong's game with Yadong landing the bigger shots to a close DEC. Can see this being a close ass fight like most of the fights on this card.

Moisés vs. Alvarez
Joel Alvarez, DEC
Like the 6 inch reach advantage, Alvarez takedown defense, and low kicks; if he keeps this standing should be a close win, but who knows Moises is pretty decent.

Calvillo vs. Lee
Cynthia Calvillo, DEC
KGB beat a ****** Shevchenko sister, only thing that scares me is Calvillo just got her ass beat but mainly quit against the cage didn't seem like she took too much brain damage and has Lee ever put anybody out by ko lmao. Never forget boys "I'm taking Calvillo here, she is being criminally underrated." that dude on the commentary booth sounded like a complete milk dud.

Baeza vs. Williams
Miguel Baeza, DEC
50/50 up in the air about this one now. Lmao

Woodson vs. Anglin
Sean Woodson, DEC
Don't see Woodson being taken down or at least held down, 7 inch reach advantage, size advantage. Anglin has to keep Woodson down to win, don't see it.

Casey vs. Jojua
Cortney Casey, DEC
Not picking Jojua; has showed me absolutely nothing and Casey has been fighting solid comp. her whole career, Jojua was split tf open by Maverick...

Diakiese vs. Alves
Marc Diakiese, DEC
Diakiese is a good stand up fighter and Alves has to prove more to be before I pick him against a solid standup fighter in Diakiese.

Nzechukwu vs. Jung
Kennedy Nzechukwu, DEC
Have 0 clue why Nzechukwu is a dog here, Jung folded to the pressure of Sam Alvey, yes Sam Alvey... Nzechukwu is huge should be able to keep it on the feet and win a hard fought stand up battle would not be surprised if a KO happens.

Baeza is ******

Predictions: 4 of 5 Winners, 0 Perfect, 230 Points   |   Tied for 2880th

Baeza is talented everywhere…except defensively. Defensively, he is dog****. He tends to use the same semi-philly shell retreat over and over again which has gotten him clipped on multiple occasions, particularly against Matt Brown and Ponzinibbio. While he is solid fighting at his range, Khaos will not give him any respect and will throw hard hitting blitzes on him like a knife wielding bare naked cave dwelling homunculus who just consumed twelve cans of Red Bull. Khaos has a bad tendency of staring up at the ceiling when he throws hands, but Baeza has a bad tendency of getting caught in wars. That will be the death of him if he decides to engage. Too risky not to pick Khaos.

Note: Khaos tends to throw flurries when his opponent backs up on his jab feints, something of which Baeza does by instinct, especially early in the fight.

Khaos via R1 KO

Why is Baeza the favorite?

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 350 Points   |   Tied for 1148th

I get that he had a war with Ponzi but outside of that he doesn’t have many notable wins, the guy he fought on DWCS he should’ve finished. Khaos has the higher overall ceiling and he’s shown he can get it done early or outclass a guy like Semi. The only way I see Baeza winning is out pointing Khaos to a decision but I have a hard time seeing Khaos let that happen.

Max Holloway, TKO, R3
Dr Stoppage. Swell his ******* eye shut.

Rothwell vs. Rogério de Lima
Ben Rothwell, DEC
Big Ben.

Spencer vs. Letson
Felicia Spencer, SUB, R1
I'm not overthinking this one.

Dolidze vs. Daukaus
Kyle Daukaus, SUB, R2
Coach, do you want me to submit him?

Song vs. Arce
Yadong Song, DEC
Yadong?

Moisés vs. Alvarez
Joel Alvarez, TKO, R2
Lets ****** go!

Calvillo vs. Lee
Cynthia Calvillo, DEC
Via wrestle****/lay&pray . She's a much smarter fighter imo. Andrea Lee has the reach and could cause issue's for Calvillo though. But I look for her to grind this fight to a boring dec.

Baeza vs. Williams
Miguel Baeza, SUB, R2
Williams = KO or bust. I'm going with Baeza sub.

Woodson vs. Anglin
Sean Woodson, TKO, R3
Woody.

Casey vs. Jojua
Liana Jojua, SUB, R1
I simp for Jojua.

"Coach do you want me to submit him" was a great moment...lol.

I like Dolidze because I won a lot of money on draftkings that night he KO'd Can Ibragimov....but I think he's one of those guys that wants to go out there and have fun and isnt really concerned with winning a title or anything.

I gotta go Daukaus....

It's just a matchup thing, Kennedy has notched three wins in a row but two of them were comebacks. I'm going Jung simply because Nzechukwu went full Homer Simpson against Ulberg, who I faded that night.

After that layoff since the Darko fight I expected Kennedy to look improved, but he remains the same raw fighter who seldoms takes advantage of his athletic gifts and is a sitting duck. Da's grappling against Knight is also a confidence booster.

Excellent fight night card - especially after being spoiled with two incredible numbered cards (would that be the right term???) back-to-back - Williams-Baeza is on the prelims for god sake, that proves my point I feel.

All jokes aside, Daukaus has never had an easy fight since getting to the UFC, he went to war with Brendan Allen in his debut. Dolidze has been cleaning up the bottom feeders of the division, fighting guys who have either been cut or will be cut soon. If you want to turn your hair grey put a bet on either guy lmao.
