Solecki vs. Gordon
Joe Solecki, DEC
Interesting clash of styles this, I say both are pretty equal on the feet, Gordon might be a little better but Solecki is a very good BJJ artist and Gordon is a solid wrestler. Picking Solecki because if he can look for the takedowns here and there it can open up his striking too. Close fight, not confident in it at all, Gordon can defend the takedowns and out strike Solecki, definitely a possibility. Hard to call but I think Solecki can get some takedowns here and there

Walker said hes wants to be a 2 weight champ and that motivation will get him the win and he's way younger than Santos so hell KO him

Aspen Ladd, DEC
Top opponents with big reach advantages may be trouble for Ladd, we didn’t get to see much vs. Randamie,  still upset at Herb for that ridiculous early stoppage, he must’ve been ready to go home. I'll be staying away from this matchup for the most part, not even somewhat sure how this'll play out.

Anyone notice how UFC card have a lower standard recently . I think this card is one of the better one the UFC been putting out recently, And even still, its not that stacked. It has 3 good fights. Look at the next few UFC card, They look bad. I think it the UFC putting all the good fights on numbered UFC card being the worst problem.

But I will say, It still free fights on a Sunday, So i won't ***** about it. Because usually the fight end up being good anyway, And if the UFC didn't have a card then I end up  watching worst fights so it still better as the UFC is like Marvel movie, The **** card are still decent

@duck I don't know what you're talking about, there's 7 fights on this card between established ufc fighters and they look like bangers. If you're not counting Chiasson vs Ladd as a "good" fight then your standards are off.

Also I feel like I say this every time someone says a card appears weak on paper, but those are the ones that end up producing incredible fights out of nowhere.

You can't determine whether or not it's a good card until it's over. What matters is what happens in the fights

I really think Mullarkey can get it done if he dont get caught out the gate and starts putting pressure.. He has more avenues to win with wrestling and I think people are sleeping on Mullarkeys possibility to KO Devonte.

@Fisty I disagree that this is a quality card, it really isn't. That isn't to say that there won't be some violent fights like the main, Price vs Cowboy and Holland vs Daukaus has potential, but on balance this event has obviously been set up as a kind of talent filter to separate the wheat from the chaff. There's no very interesting prospects present (apart from Solecki I suppose) and I personally could and probably will skip most or all of it and watch the highlights.

I don't think Chiasson vs Macy is a good fight. It will probably just sound like a professional women's tennis match as Aspen lays on top of macy spamming low impact hammerfists, resulting in a boredom stoppage by the ref. I mean there's always the chance that after it's waved off aspen poos in her hand, throws it at Chiasson's corner then chews a hole on the octagon floor I suppose.

Anyway this is a biiiiiiiiiig step down from last week's event, but they all can't be as stacked so this is what we get.

Honestly Mularky vs Smith, Price vs Cowboy, Holland vs Daukaus and Jotko vs Cirkonov are the only fight on the card that exite me. That a good UFC card. Just the UFC standard haven't been as high that It make in seem like the best card in ages, When it just an adequate card. Also I'm not a fan of fights where I know the outcome straight off the back, I like Intrigue. So some fights might be fun to you, But I just see the favourte winning the fight

Honestly Don't see Walker winning, Santos Kos him  a majority of the time, Johnny Walker has no chin. Santos sleeps him bad,

Ladd going to embarrase Chaison. Let be honest Chasion ain't great. She hype because she look like a feminist super hero. Her fight with Sarah Moras was her losing before she was winning, That Sarah Moras, She got her ass whopped by Lina Lansberg. And she almost lost to a 44 year old Marion Renue. I think Ladd has some promise to be a contender at 135,

But Your correct in that the fight card is good or bad after because the fight haven't happen. I hope they're ton of upsets on this card, I like seeing stuff that not suspose to happen. I find -1000 knocking out they opponent to be boring, But that just me

Bloody elbow hit piece on rogan

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 1173rd

Bloody elbow on sbnation put a opinion(hit) piece out on Joe Rogan. I think Rogan is the best announcer in the business and don't understand why anyone would want him to be fired or let go. I'm always confused when people hate on him for his ufc appearances or the lack of. His commentary has always been insightful and does a better job of explaining the situations inside the cage. What's everyone's take on this recent hate for Joe Rogan as an announcer?

Well, Bloody Elbow is woke. Like, hard, ultra-left woke. Not moderate at all.  They have written some truly ridiculous articles and have been excommunicated by the chief admin of Tapology  for this reason. The reason they would have published that hit piece is because Rogan is centre right or neutral, politically. Or at least that's how he's framed, anyway. I think his political predilections depend on the subject at hand.

That, and the ivermectin thing. He says he cured Covid with vitamins and Ivermectin. Maybe he did, maybe it didn't affect him particularly badly and the ivermectin and vitamins were basically just placebos.  Anyway the jury is still out on Ivermectin. I've read quite a few papers on its efficacy as a covid treatment. Many have been extremely positive. Certainly, it seems to have been used to good effect in places like India. The 'Horse paste' narrative is hysterical and absurd. It is used to treat humans, just not as an anitviral and if you want you can get a script for it and buy it from the chemist.

UFC wouldn't be the same without Joe. I say that as someone who isn't his biggest fan. I'm not too worried about the ability of Bloody Elbow or the fifty people in the world who read it to get Rogan booted from the promotion.

Hernandez vs. Breeden
Alexander Hernandez, DEC
Hernandez should get back into the win column here, he's got decent boxing, his footwork is alright and I just don't really see him getting backed up and hurt against Breeden. Hernandez is pretty good at blocking strikes however he may get countered in the pocket but so can Breeden. Should be a good fight this but I see Hernandez winning the majority of the striking exchanges

@James. Ditto what Baldric said. I'll add that most people that hate famous people. Either Biden or Trump for example, to a exaggerating degree are just miserable people with terrible lives. Those types of people need someone to **** on and hate on a daily basis. Because they usually have no friends, money, wife hates them and kids are pieces of ****. It's the popular thing to hate celebrities or famous people. And it usually comes from the worst people with the worst situations.

Joe Rogan I think really started to get attacked during the far right lynch mob attacks during the presidential election year. Anyone who seemed slightly right was immediately a Nazi white supremacists Trump loving *******. And Joe Rogan being a popular cage fighting announcer white male, who didn't immediately comply and agree with the ongoing narrative, fell into the category of fair game of being attacked..all though I agree that most of his beliefs are moderate/neutral.

Summarize. People who are just losers need someone to hate to escape their own loser lives. Wrong place wrong time for Rogan.
The wind will change direction again and he will be popular again in some time.

Ladd vs. Chiasson

Predictions: 2 of 3 Winners, 1 Perfect, 150 Points   |   Tied for 3169th

Chiasson did lose to Lansberg who has an inch shorter reach than Ladd and who Ladd is a more polished wrestler than, so in all I can see Ladd winning this fight. Plus they have some personal feud between each other due to the the cancellation of their initial bout due to Chiasson's injury so Chiasson may become flustered during the fight or try too hard to prove something then make a mistake. Women's fights are almost always 50/50 unless it's __________ vs. Nunes/Shevchenko, but there's more that adds up for Ladd to take this.

Ladd vs. Chiasson
Aspen Ladd, DEC
Quite confident in Ladd here to be honest, she hasn't fought in almost two years but I think she's a much better fighter than Macy. On the feet I think Ladd can expose the fact that Macy just doesn't move her head much and she can also take this fight to the ground and control it there I think. Ladd is good everywhere and I think she can just mix everything up

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 565 Points   |   Tied for 287th

Santos vs. Walker
Thiago Santos, TKO, R1
The actual Santos is not as hard as before but he's still more clinical than this fighter who has talent but he has 0 IQ and defense

Holland vs. Daukaus
Kevin Holland, DEC
The difference in striking is bigger than the grappling

Price vs. Oliveira
Niko Price, TKO, R2
Price is a slow fighter IMO but he's a hard dude and Cowboy has a sloppy chin and his tank is not durable. He only has a decent 1st round

Cirkunov vs. Jotko
Krzysztof Jotko, DEC
Cirkunov was slow for light heavyweight on the feet... He has the grappling advantage of course, he is front of the best takedown defense of the division. So the only chance that Cirkunov he has is an error of Jotko and take the fight on the ground IMO

Ladd vs. Chiasson
Aspen Ladd, TKO, R3
Prolly Chiasson improves the striking. (timing and technical) I dont like Ladd. I think she is awful in striking, but she has better cardio and way better grappling than his opponent and she can take advantage of this matchup and ending the fight on the ground and pound

Hernandez vs. Breeden
Alexander Hernandez, TKO, R1
Breeden fought in LFA and DWCS (I only asaw two fights of Breeden) and he isnt special, is decent. And Hernandez has a good wrestling, decent striking, and prettyy more pace. So this could be a easy win to Hernandez

Solecki vs. Gordon
Joe Solecki, DEC
Solecki always has the same plan. I think in this fight is goin to work again, getting countrol time... But probably this plan with a better striker and well rounded he would be smashed

Shevchenko vs. O'Neill
Antonina Shevchenko, DEC
Casey O Neil has the cardio, the pressure and better grappling imo than Shevchenko. But Shevchenko on the feet is way better. Oneil didnt fight a good striker and she wasnt dominant on the feet even. So Im goin with Shevchenko

Rosa vs. Correia
Karol Rosa, DEC
Bethe Correia so slow. Prolly a lil bit better boxinf but nothing else. And Karol Rosa is in the process of improvement and actually is way better

Mullarkey vs. Smith
Jamie Mullarkey, TKO, R1
Other prediction for me would be Smith by decision. But I take Mullarkey by Ko cause he is a hard dude and with the hands I think he is better

Andrade vs. Pirrello
Douglas Andrade, DEC
Pirrello has 0 grappling and he didnt fight good competition as Andrade

Young vs. Egger
Stephanie Egger, DEC
Both fighter has aw*** striking. My pick is Egger cause I think he has the physical and grappling advantage.

Perez vs. Eduardo
Alejandro Perez, DEC
Better boxing by Perez and the fight goes to the distance. No much to say
