Greene's fighting is as lame and uninspired as his crocheting. He seems like a good dude and I want to like him but his cardio is awful and he has no standout skill. De Lima was at least threatening and backing Romanov up for a little bit before getting his ass handed to him in that last fight, and I think he has enough experience to either outlast Greene's gas tank or just KO him outright.

I agree, although I think Greene's crocheting is better than his fighting.

Dude needs to do cardio and fix his vision somehow. Gian Villante was the perfect opponent for him not to go 0-4, since he's the only guy in the heavyweight division that could gas harder than Greene, and the guy has asthma for God's sake.

Well, I mean they're both pretty ordinary. I'd argue Greene has beaten/faced better guys. It's a pickem.

If you ever want to see ineffective cardio routines, check Greene's instagram story. The guy will bike a mile and a half then take a picture of the stationary bike's screen to show that he's done. If De Lima lasts through the first round, he'll likely win the fight regardless of what happened in those first 5 minutes.

There's a fun possible angle where Greene has a surprising number of submissions, particularly triangles, and de Lima gets choked out all the time. But also, man, Maurice Greene looks bad in there most of the time. Just lazy slow motion punches, and reacts to getting hit like he didn't know that would happen.

He looks like when NBA Centers throw punches at eachother, both afraid to commit so they kinda windmill from a distance, ass out.

Greene is paying 20-1 by sub in R2 via my provider. That's pretty good, really. If it's going to happen, it's most likely to happen then. Might throw a little something on it.

It's a fun prop bet. Especially if you pick the round (I doubt it'd happen in the third). With the Alvarez leg of my parlays dead, suddenly looking harder at this card and hooboy. Ribas-Klein-Waterston?

Diego Ferreira   vs.   Gregor Gillespie

A lot of people are high on Diego to win here, but I think that's unlikely and I'm going to explain why I think that's probably just hopium.

Ferriera doesn't land clean a lot. I was surprised to learn that his striking accuracy is a shockingly low 37%, and on top of this, he absorbs quite a lot of strikes also at 3.26PM. His striking defense is only 58%. Gregor's is 60%. Now none of that really matters apart from the fact he is statistically very unlikely to land something huge on Gregor. Kevin Lee has better striking accuracy than Ferriera. Does he hit harder? Hard to say, but probably, and it's a moot question because Lee finished Gregor with a head kick that probably would have finished anyone. Know how many fighters Fierra has head kick KO'ed? Zero.

Moving on, Gillespie has a TD average of 7.1. For perspective, Merab's is 7.38. Ferriera has never faced a fighter anything like Him.I will say Diego's TDD is solid at 68%, but I very much doubt that in and of itself is going to be enough for him to not get smothered. Will he hit a sub? Probably not. He has one submission win in his last 10 fights--that being the husk of Pettis, and he had to work his ass off for it. And it came from the top. And it was a pretty soft tap.

The long and short of it is, Gillespie is probably going to win because he's a bad style for Diego. That isn't to say he will. But that's what the numbers, and corroborating information suggest. If Diego does win it will probably come by KO/TKO. A sub is unlikely--unless it's a club n' sub.I doubt very much Gillespie strikes with him. He will probably resort immediately to chain grappling.

Gillespie, Dec.

I think Klein's a lock. He opened at like -150, but everyone's hip to it.

One of the underdogs is gonna hit. I like Morono, Ferreira, and Magny generally. I doubt they go 0-3 here. Part of me wants to fade Cowboy, because come on, but Morono is a midtier fighter at best and who knows how much he was training? Gillespie is a question mark after his last fight and the layoff. And seeing Wonderboy freeze Neal with spacing and combinations which is Magny's whole thing...

I feel like I'll talk myself into then out of each of them. End up skipping any bets.

Rothwell Vs Lins

Lins has looked underwhelming in the UFC so far...no doubt.

He's faced Tanner Boser....who may be a fraud after being scared to throw vs Arolsky...and of course..Andrei Arlovsky.

Both Boser and Arlovsky are light on their feet and faster heavyweights...which can be a bad style for a guy like Lins who likes to take his time to land that shot.

Rothwell has the experience but man he's so slow...its like he's walking in quicksand. He's looked pretty old and decrepit lately and almost lost to a bloated OSP moving up to heavyweight.

Lins trains at ATT....how can you be at ATT and not have a decent gameplan and make improvements? I guess we should ask Marcos Rogerio De Lima that question.

I'll take a few dog stabs at Lins on Draftkings.

@erison if green actually trained his standup and defense he could win this fight and many more. only picking him for the shock value. If de lima loses he needs to rethink some things in life since green also has worse cardio than him.
