Garragorri, KO/TKO R1.
Holy ****, enough Tap members picking Elkins to pack out a special school which is fitting because I am solidly confident he's getting KTFO here. Well, he might not get finished but he's definitely going to drop 2 rounds. I like Darren but let's be real, he comes out of every fight looking like a used pad on a heavy flow day and he's dropped his last 4 straight. I think if he does win here it will be by sub...but I'm not picking him to do that.

Brahimaj v. Griffin
Griffin, DEC
Everyone who has made a post has called Brahimaj by sub, but I encourage you to look at his track record. His subs are impressive, and he explodes right out the gate. What worries me is he's mostly fought cans and he's 3-2 in the fookin LFA (his highest level of competition). It also seems if the fighter has any legitimate takedown defense, Brahimaj struggles. All his wins have been first round submissions. All his losses have been unanimous decisions.
Now he's fighting Griffin, who has a much more spotty record, but against far better opponents. His TD is decent given the level of competition he has fought. But he has only been finished once, by TKO to Covington. He has never been subbed. I think Griffin, while he is **** on the UFC stage, has too much experience to lose to Brahimaj.
This is coming from a guy who put it all on Rakhmanov against Oliveira.

Have you seen Garagorri fight???? All wins vs the lowest levels of MMA. Name me a decent fighter from Uruguay, just 1!!!! His lone UFC win is against Bumberto Bumdanay(yes, Humberto is a BUM!) The only ever decent guy he faced smoked him in a minute!!
Yes, Elkins uses his face to block punches and he cuts really easily. But he is still at the stage where he can take punishment without much issue. He is on a 4 fight losing streak but against Volk, the fookin Champ!!! Hall, most dangerous grappler in the division, Lamas, permanent member of the top 10 his entire UFC career and lastly a loss to Landwehr in a fight of the night that many people thought he won(not me, but it was razor thin)
Elkins still has more than enough to wipe the floor with Garagorri. 1 takedown and this fight is a wrap. Easy submission win for The Damage!

Thiago Santos, TKO, R3
Obviously Santos is coming of those injuries but his striking is savage and he looked impressive against Jones without his legs
Arlovski vs. Boser
Tanner Boser, TKO, R1
Arlovski still putting on entertaining fights but at 41 he’s chiny and I think Boser hits too hard
Barcelos vs. Taha
Raoni Barcelos, DEC
Not very familiar with Taha so going with Barcelos
Heinisch vs. Allen
Brendan Allen, SUB, R2
I’m actually 50/50 on this fight, if Heinisch’s tdd holds up he has a chance by decision but Allen is super slick with his grappling and standup is solid, I’m excited for this fight
Gadelha vs. Yan
Xiaonan Yan, DEC
Personally I think Claudia lost against Angela Hill and Yan crushed Kowalkiewicz in eye opening fashion so I gotta go Yan
Chikadze vs. Simmons
Giga Chikadze, TKO, R2
afro samurai is a top 10 nickname but that height and reach disadvantage is gonna be too much
Giles vs. Lewis
Trevin Giles, DEC
Another toss up but I gotta lean Giles
Rogério de Lima vs. Romanov
Alexander Romanov, SUB, R1
King kong sub in the first or second
Elkins vs. Garagorri
Darren Elkins, DEC
Definitely a toss up Elkins toughness makes him the favourite but who knows
Griffin vs. Brahimaj
Max Griffin, DEC
Griffin’s gonna out grind this guy

Giga Chikadze, TKO, R2
After his impressive run in the UFC (4 straight wins, including a dominant decision over very decent competition in Omar Morales), you would expect a big step up in competition for Chikadze. I don't wan't to sound disrespectful, but who the hell is Jamey Simmons ? Why not a top 15 like Burgos, Ige... Or at least a name opponent like Cub Swanson or Alex Cacerès ?
