Granted the majority of my time on said sites was years ago, before FBI threatened to mirk people for onine bullying yet another fake boogeyman tactic.
However a LOT of moderators abuse their power pretty much every game server nowadays pretty pitiful.
People getting permabanned for calling someone gay.
One more reason I will probably never buy a new Bethesda game which sucks cuz they got their dirty paws in deep.

If you're using Chrome then you can do it by right clicking on the gif and then clicking "copy image address". Then, click on the grey img button on the reply section and paste the link into the box that pops up. Hope this helps!

I tried it on my phone using Chrome as my browser (chrome app if that makes any difference) and as you said you were trying to get one from Giphy, I got one from there as well but obviously didn't work. I tried it from ones on Google images but it didn't let me even copy the link. I dunno I'm afraid, sorry.
