Don't give a **** if Khabib missed weight TBH. SO long as the fight goes ahead I don't care.

That’s a hot take @Fish. Are you saying that you care more about the fight happening than the miss? Or are you saying that making/missing weight is just irrelevant as a whole?

@Hyrm I’m guessing you’re my one upvote on that post then lol. We’ll see, Tai is a wildcard but at least he isn’t scared to scrap.

Both really. It's one thing to blow it out of the water but if they're a pound or two over that doesn't imply anything at all. Not like it's drugs. They're not actually fighting at their weigh-in weights anyway by the time they re-hydrate.

You're asking the wrong guy really. Basically as long as they get in there. and beat one another up I'm indifferent to generally anything else that happens leading up to that. If it were up to me, everyone would be doing PEDS. It would probably be mandatory. I'd have the entire roster turned into ******* xenomorphs.

I’m actually of the opinion that all PEDs should be allowed too. And matches should be at walk-weight and as long as the fighters are +/- 10lbs of each other it goes ahead. Kind of how amateur boxing is actually, many cut weight for the big tourneys but at regional shows you usually just get several gyms that show up and their fighters weigh in and they match up anyone who has similar #fights and are within 10lbs of eachother.

Alright guys... let’s have a talk about that weigh-ins... I’m I the only ones that thinks he looks so drained and stressed out about making weight.? Not to mention the fact the guy didn’t even let the weight balanced fully before announcing that he made weight... little odd...

@Tieoken I'm fine with the "let em take steroids" opinion in anything but combat sports, football, or any other sport with players taking damage from other players, then it becomes a health issue for those who aren't taking steroids

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 715 Points   |   Tied for 204th

Nurmagomedov vs. Gaethje
Khabib Nurmagomedov, DEC
i don't think justin will give up, but i do think he's gonna get weighed on and dragged around in between some explosive moments.

Whittaker vs. Cannonier
Robert Whittaker, DEC
without disrespecting cannonier, i think this is still a huge step up in competition even from jack and i gotta think that the guy who showed up against till can avoid jared's shots and counter.

Volkov vs. Harris
Alexander Volkov, DEC
i don't think walt has the grinding blueprint that has worked on volkov in the past, nor do i think he's gonna ko him early, so to me that means he's gonna get picked apart by what seems to be a more technical striker with better use of range.

Hawes vs. Malkoun
Phil Hawes, TKO, R1
might be way off, but i'm not seeing anything on malkoun's page that makes me think this is anything more than an intended feeding for hawes.

Murphy vs. Shakirova
Lauren Murphy, SUB, R2
very skeptical of shakirova's competition so i'm kinda expecting murphy to outclass her and finally show off her bjj more than just positionally.

Ankalaev vs. Cutelaba II
Magomed Ankalaev, TKO, R1
hopefully the intensity hasn't settled and this one if fireworks off the bat. had ankalaev last time so i'll stick with him. his gnp is some of the best in the division.

Struve vs. Tuivasa
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R2
i don't know who to pick. tuivasa isn't built to last in the ufc, but how many more knockdowns does struve have in him? will struve try to take him down before getting cracked? idk, this is a fight i wouldn't touch on a bet.

Kenney vs. Wood
Casey Kenney, DEC
seems pretty even, but i'm thinking casey can set the pace?

Oliveira vs. Rakhmonov
Alex Oliveira, DEC
i am definitely intrigued to see what rakhmonov has, but i'll stick with cowboy for now. he has faultered at times, but he brings a certain pace that should keep him ahead on scorecards if he can avoid getting blasted by a counter.

Jung vs. Alvey
Da Un Jung, TKO, R2
i don't think sam is necessarily done, but he's always too conservative when it comes to pulling the trigger.

Jojua vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, SUB, R2
might take maverick a minute or two to find her shooting distance, but i think she can grind it out after and a submission is certainly possible.

Alvarez vs. Yakovlev
Joel Alvarez, DEC
the weight miss has me skeptical, but i'm still gonna take alvarez. i'm not sure i trust yakovlev's volume.

@TW I can support that line of logic even if I might not inherently agree with it. What about restorative PEDs that don’t increase muscle? Like EPO which actually has proven benefits with concussion recovery as well as decreased likelihood of major tears and joint damage.

@ImperatorFishrat - I finally agree with something you are saying. LOL !!!
** I am indifferent actually to PEDs  for fighters. And Yes I heard all the rebuttals -- but think about it. Before USADA - Fighters were fighting more and less injured. Fights were more competitive in the later stages for the best fighters... they felt better ... looked better... like real Warriors.

Now they look like blow joe down the street gym... except for one or two of them. I like the way PRIDE did everything thats why I dont understand Mark Hunt lawsuit against Brock Lesnar/ UFC  because he fought many guys in PRIDE on PEDs of all kinds.

I think USADA needs to have approved  PEDs for fighters only in the MMA and set the range. Of the doses that could be used...

Murphy and the other chick also missed weight. So that's now a total of 4 fighters that missed weight according to the conspiracy theory.

When Millions of Dollars is on the line in a RICH COUNTRY for A BIG FIGHT ...

Predictions: 3 of 12 Winners, 0 Perfect, 165 Points   |   Tied for 3575th

Of course some shady things will go on in the UFC .... relax.  same thing with GSP vs Nick Diaz
GSP did a lot of shady things but got away with it in Canada.  Nick and Nate called the UFC out for missed championship weights and greasing by GSP and his team.

GSP was gifted wins on controversial fights also... But I dont care.  It happened - just move on.
UFC is about protecting themselves and making money -- Period !!
Sad hard truth.... if some of good come out of it. Bonus  points !!

Dana White lies all the time - I call him Dana Black. Because of the stories I heard from other fighters over 2 decades.  DW also is married but even his mother came on interview -- exposed him. Saying he has sex with pretty much all the Ring girls and many others.  LOL!!!
I  laughed so hard -- Oh no! his mother is putting him on blast.  LOL

Struve vs. Tuivasa
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R1
Hmmmmmm. Whattaya do about this. You would not be an idiot to think "Man, I really wish Struve would use that massive size advantage, and just pick this guy apart from range." But I don't see that happening, If he tries that, I think his chin gets cracked by Tuivasa crashing in with heavvy shots. But if he can get it on the canvas, where I think he's got the best path to victory is Struve's ground game. I'm thinking this will be a striker vs. grappler fight, We'll see. I got Tuivasa in R1, and Struve afterwards. Take your pick.

Kenney vs. Wood
Casey Kenney, DEC
Seriously, this undercard is a main card any other time. This is a coin-flip of a fight if I've seen one. And against 2 top tier prospects. I love these scraps. Honestly, this is a title fight in any other promotion not named UFC.

Oliveira vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, TKO, R2
I ******* LOVE THIS FIGHT. I liked Elizeu Zaleski vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov, but this is even better with Oliveira stepping in. Holy ******* ****. UFC kinda showing their hand with Rakhmonov and showing you how highly they are of him by giving him arguably the top 15-20 gatekeepers in his debut. And I'm 100% onboard with it. It could last a round, I still see "Fight Of The Year" written all over this one. Plus, what better way to celebrate your 26th Birthday by making your long awaited UFC Debut. Maybe the icing on the cake, getting a performance bonus.... Better strap in for this one.

Jojua vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, DEC
Okay. I fully expect Maverick to get the win here. Not in spectacular fashion either, so I reeally don't understand the pretty huge odds at -435 on Maverick. Idk, maybe I'm missing something here.
