You're all losers
Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 300 Points | Tied for 1604th
The funniest part is people are actually choosing him to win by decision in a 5 round fight HAHAHA
half of you must already be drunk when picking or half of you never developed beyond remedial thinking abilities,
Can't wait for Yair to knock the ****** out.
and Steven peterson has possibly been the worst recruit ever from the contender series, dude is a pathetic caucus human who labels himself a fighter, I hope martin bravo pulls off the knockout on this trash level prospect. People high on choosing stephens and Peterson are the imbeciles of this community, probably the same ones who went with Cerrone and jim crute last week.

Yair Rodriguez, DEC
i think yair can frustrate jeremy and make him pay when he plants.
Esparza vs. Grasso
Alexa Grasso, DEC
if grasso can maintain confidence from the last fight then she can piece carla up once she gets desperate from getting stuffed a few times. always worried grasso gets comfortable and tries to play guard though.
Askarov vs. Moreno
Brandon Moreno, DEC
askar has 100% finish rate and moreno hasn't been finished as a pro, though he does have 5 decision losses to only 3 wins. screw it though, i'll run with my first point.
Aldana vs. Melo
Irene Aldana, TKO, R1
decision over finney isn't impressing me so i'll say irene lands something big early.
Bravo vs. Peterson
Steven Peterson, DEC
bravo is gonna find it hard to finish peterson and hasn't seen many scorecards so i'll say grit wins this one.
Quiñones vs. Huachin
Jose Alberto Quiñones, DEC
thinking jose can use his reach and take a decision.
Reyes vs. Nelson
Polo Reyes, TKO, R2
reyes might get floored, but he has shown nice boxing at times and might be able to land one of his own.
Hill vs. Carnelossi
Ariane Carnelossi, DEC
seems like carnelossi has a decent striking pedigree and those who can hang on the feet with hill tend to be able to control their fight.
Pettis vs. Nam
Sergio Pettis, DEC
too inconsistent in terms of opponents and results for me to pick nam, but i'm happy to see him hit the big stage.
Moreira vs. Craig
Vinicius Moreira, TKO, R2
vini doesn't have the chin for 205, but craig has made his money off comeback subs and i don't think he'll find one here.
Eubanks vs. Correia
Sijara Eubanks, DEC
sarj should have edge in power and ground game as long as she doesn't gas.
Puelles vs. Mariano
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R2
felt like mariano was brought in just to get lando a win, puelles is probably getting a softball after his miracle kneebar.

Alexa Grasso, DEC
this fight will only be good if we can see Grasso asso
Askarov vs. Moreno
Askar Askarov, DEC
Askar look really good but Moreno is the hardest fight for him so an upset could happen
Aldana vs. Melo
Irene Aldana, DEC
Aldana will jab the **** out of her
Reyes vs. Nelson
Kyle Nelson, TKO, R1
Reyes is chinny as he get ko by Dober so I think he will get KTFO
Hill vs. Carnelossi
Ariane Carnelossi, DEC
Carnelossi look like she beat usuda and I can't tell if those are pecs or tits so she will roid smash hill
Pettis vs. Nam
Sergio Pettis, DEC
Sergio some how has a better ufc record then Anthony now and I think he will beat Nam
Puelles vs. Mariano
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R1
Marino is like the bum version of his homie the spider goat with decent stricking and a ****** on the ground

Jeremy Stephens, DEC
Yair lacks fundamentals, but Stephens has a clear blueprint out against him. The x-factor that makes me lean Stephens is low kicks. The key difference between Zabit and Yair is that Yair doesn't really strike off the back foot, he exits range athletically to reset for strikes. Zabit is able to effective strike off the back foot whilst circling off the cage, making it really hard to charge through range and trap him. Moicano is similar, not so much for the offense he can throw off the back foot, but the composed and consistent way he can continue to circle out and force you to chase. Yair just lacks fundamentals, darts out of range, not a huge fan of his boxing. I expect this to be a competitive fight, and i'm not extremely confident in Stephens because of how strong the blueprint is set against him, but I believe the leg kicks will be the key that see's Stephens control rounds and leads to a decision victory.
Askarov vs. Moreno
Brandon Moreno, SUB, R2
I don't see the hype others do on Askarov. His wrestling in his most recent fights is mostly launching onto people who get off balanced, momentarily controlling and then they get back up. I don't see the small technical adjustments on top that make me believe he has tight control, and I don't see the freestyle, open matt takedowns to believe he can impose himself on Moreno here. Another issue I see for Askarov is that he likes to walk into boxing range, and Moreno fights with good length. I expect Moreno to land as Askarov walks forward, and I can't see what Askarov has that Dustin didn't try and fail to implement better in his fight w/ Moreno. Moreno will take over as Askarov's lack of success begins to gas him out.
Aldana vs. Melo
Irene Aldana, DEC
Closer fight than the odds suggest, but ultimately Melo is too slow. Aldana struggles with people who can counter her effectively as she enters range, and Melo has a composed counter game, her composure is why I don't think Aldana gets a finish here, in spite of Melo's ostensibly terrible weight cut. Aldana's touch & go speed should be enough to get a victory here, but I don't think it looks as dominant as the odds suggest.
Bravo vs. Peterson
Martín Bravo, DEC
Who knows and who cares. Bravo because Peterson's IQ score is fresh in the mind.
Quiñones vs. Huachin
Jose Alberto Quiñones, DEC
Hauchin is a basic southpaw 1-2 slinger, and that might be enough here. Quinones gets dropped in all his fights, and despite good entries & cage control he never seems to ride rounds out and dominant top posish on the ground. The basic, arrogant 1-2 slangin' of Carlos might crack & finish Jose, but I think Jose gets through the first round and begins to read the very basic approach of Carlos, allowing him to use that UFC experience to find ways inside and control him. Good spot for people who like live betting, as there is a good chance Quinones gets dropped in the first, but recovers to win a decision, so keep an eye out for serious +$ in the first round on Jose.
Reyes vs. Nelson
Polo Reyes, TKO, R2
I'm with Reyes here. He has been put away a couple of times at 55', and is making his debut at 45. Kyle Nelson isn't the guy to put him away outside of the first two minutes. In most of his fights, Nelson gasses at sea level, so I expect that to be worse in Mexico City. One of the biggest flaws in his game is his lack of ability to fight moving backwards. Not even in a crafty way, if you watch any time people have pushed him back, his rigid, unathletic frame falls apart and he is totally ineffective. He can't generate power moving backwards, and he is open to strikes because he can't reset his feet in time to plant. This is why Diego Ferreira was his worst possible match up. Elite BJJ guy who can pressure with boxing. He pressures, Kyle lunges forward with power to get control because he can't fight moving back, overextends into clinches & Ferreish grapples. The reason people like Hadzovic & Dober has success vs. Reyes was that Reyes style of over slipping is vulnerable to combination strikes, but it's ideal for single strike fighters. If you slip way off center, you have to come all that way back to center, and in the time you are coming back, a combination striker can catch you in your off balanced state. If you throw single strikes, the over slipping works fine because there is no threat of the follow up punch catching you returning to center. Kyle doesn't strike in combination beyond the first minute or two, so I expect that to work in Reyes favor here. The grappling is a Q mark for Reyes, but I think if he has a sprawl in his back pocket, and doesn't get chocked out early R1, he can read the VERY telegraphed shots of Nelson as he gets tired - which will be exacerbated by altitude - and control the fight. Reyes via control that leads to Nelson gassing, maybe finish.
Hill vs. Carnelossi
Angela Hill, DEC
Ariane doesn't have the footwork to trap Hill, and that is why she's going to end up getting picked apart on the feet. Andrade had the foot speed & footwork to trap Hill, just like other girls, and that fatigues her and breaks her down. Ariane has the power but not the speed & footwork. Would be surprised if she won this one.
Pettis vs. Nam
Sergio Pettis, DEC
Baby Pettis striking = sexy as ****. Love it. Tyson is a typical asian power boxer, plants with heavy hooks, tough & keeps the power through rounds. Didn't tape this one but expect Pettis' striking prowess to prevail in a clean, sexy DEC of backfoot excellence.
Moreira vs. Craig
Paul Craig, SUB, R3
Throw a dart. If this were sea level i'd probably go w/ Vinicus, just because I see this as a top game BJJ guy vs. a bottom game BJJ guy, and in MMA that's always going to be scored for the man on top. But Craig has been sleeping in a hypoxic tent for 6 weeks, so that advantage at altitude, especially vs. a guy who has only seen the 2nd round twice should be enough of an edge. R3 sub because I believe in the power of MMA Gods and their decreed memes. This will probably be ugly as ****.
Eubanks vs. Correia
Sijara Eubanks, DEC
Bleh. Correira only has a Jessica Eye win in her last 6 fights. Eubanks, who gives a fook. Probs Eubanks, don't care.
Puelles vs. Mariano
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R1
No idea, just moving with the herd.

Carla Esparza, DEC
Esparza is a solid wrestler. Rewatched the Jandiroba fight and really had to respect how solid Carla's wrestling is. Explosive level changes, turns the corner, smart weight distribution. Wrestling like that in WMMA isn't very common, and I don't think Grasso is powerful enough to deny it. The KK fight was a good look but KK is damaged goods with a good style for Grasso. Just kept walking forward and getting boxed up. People made out that the Randa Markos fight was a Derrick Lewis type wrestling performance from Grasso, but when I reviewed it you could see Grasso constantly making intelligent decisions in the grappling, she just lacked a certain urgency and athleticism to expedite her get-ups and stay on the feet. Red flag when you see her throw a body kick, get taken down off it, then do the same thing later on, leading to the same result. Just a very winnable fight for Carla.
