Straw weight wins either way: either Andrade defends and legitimizes her reign or Zhang makes a huge splash and you have Suarez, Rose, and Joanna on deck.

Weili Zhang, DEC
I really hope Zhang pulls off the upset, like I weili weili hope! (Sorry) I don't know what it is but I dont like Andrade, actually that's a lie I do know what it is, she smashed my gorl Rose on her head almost breaking her neck and she's definitely on all the PED's!!!
Zaleski vs. Li
Elizeu Zaleski, TKO, R2
Why has this match up been made? I mean it's a fun fight I guess, but Zaleski is on a 6 fight winstreak, his last 3 being 1st round finishes. He should be fighting somebody a little better than Jianling! Some guys just don't get the push from the UFC and that sucks!!! Hopefully Zaleski gets the win and moves on to a more meaningful fight. No offence to Jiangling, he's a great action fighter but I just think Zaleski deserved a ranked opponent or at least a name guy!

Andrade vs Zhang
Even if the Chinese fill Zhang with everything they were giving their athletes during the Olympics I still don't see her dethroning Andrade.
To put it simply this all just seems a case of too much too soon for Zhang when if you think about it who is the best person Zhang has beaten? Tecia Torres (who in her last fight showed it isn't just championship level fighters she loses to)
And who has Andrade beaten? Pennington, Calderwood, Torres, Gadelha, Kowalkiewicz and Namajunas. Jessica has just so much more experience on the high level.
Plus the only people who've given Jessica trouble at Strawweight were Joanna & Rose both of whom are far superior strikers and have far better footwork that Zhang in general.
Overall I just can't see many areas where Zhang can win this fight, too much too soon.
- Power: Despite her 80% finish rate being higher than Andrade's I still give the clear cut power advantage going to Jessica
- Speed: Honestly this I would say is about even neither woman is known for their speed and both tend to use more of a power style.
- Endurance: Granted she came up short in that fight but of the two we know Jessica can go five rounds after seeing her against Joanna, with only 4 decisions in her entire career their are a lot more questions to be answered on how Zhang will look in the championship rounds.
I do think you see Zhang challenge for the title again though.

Batgerel Danaa vs. Alatengheili Alateng at 135 lbs (61.2 kg)

Kenan Song, TKO, R1
Krantz was lucky he pulled off a once in a lifetime KO in front of Dana on his Lookin for a fight show to get himself signed. That's as far as his luck went! He got starched by Luque on his debut and I expect another starching here! Then it's back to the regionals Derrick!
Wu vs. Inoue
Mizuki Inoue, DEC
Its about time Inoue was signed by the UFC. She's long been 1 of the best 115ers in the world. Here's were I'm confused? Why is she taking a fight at 125? Maybe it was her way in the door. Fair enough if that's the case. But hopefully she returns to 115 after this fight. I'd like to pick her here but like I've been saying this isn't her weight class so even though I feel she's a better fighter skillwise I don't think she'll be able to overcome the size difference here. Saying that Wu did get beat by Gina Mazany so there's that!
Evloev vs. Grundy
Movsar Evloev, DEC
Unlike Ismagulov I like what I've seen of Evloev. Grundy also impressed me KO'ing Narimani in his debut considering Grundy is a Commonwealth games medallist in wrestling! So he's obviously well rounded. But Evloev is even more well rounded and a little better everywhere. Should be a close fight, could turn into a grind! Hopefully not!
Ismagulov vs. Moisés
Thiago Moisés, TKO, R2
Ismagulov hasn't impressed me since arriving in the UFC. Maybe I'm being swayed after seeing similar fighter in Kunchenko be outgrappled by a Brazilian this past weekend but I like Moises in this fight. He's not gonna let Ismagulov have a slow paced kickboxing match and will push the pace and in my opinion get the win. I may change my mind on this 1!
De La Rosa vs. Kara-France
Mark De La Rosa, SUB, R2
.Kara-France lost his last fight against Paiva, I don't care what you say! I think I'm gonna go for the upset here too! If de la Rosa can get a couple takedowns this fight is his
Danaa vs. Alateng
Heili Alateng, TKO, R2
And here was me thinking the bar couldn't get any lower after watching Uruguays no.1 (lol) Garagorri vs Bumberto Bumdanay!! But apparently I was wrong! *** is this ****? Who da fook are both of dese guys??? Seriously, I thought that there was over 500 fighters on the UFC roster, why sign these 2 instead of giving someone already on the roster a fight? Surely there's 2 Asians or Australians that could've been matched up? But mo, we are treated to this! Watch it be fight of the year!!! Nah, unlikely!!!
