suarez showed some serious holes in her striking and was losing badly at the end of the fight. another minute and ansaroff would have finished her.

Suarez will not beat Andrade. She doesn't have the conditioning, subs, striking defense and strength advantage to do that. She'll lay on top of her for half a round, gas out and get ten shades of **** punched out of her. Take that to the bank. Jessica stops her in Brutal fashion. Zhang has a much better chance of beating Andrade.

I think you are being too quick to right off Suarez. She's had 1 bad round!!! Also she went into that fight with a severe neck injury, so bad her face and arm went numb! By the way I'm not white knighting her, just stating facts. My point being I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Suarez chances after 1 bad round.

between those 3 women IMO the strawweight division is actually pretty exciting at the very top. High-level savagery.

Andrade vs Zhang is very intriguing.

She's looked good against cans and women she's twice the size of. First time she fights a girl who's around her size she struggles. She can only beat Andrade by sub. That's literally her sole path to victory. Can't KO her, can't decision her. If she can't hit the sub within three she gets horrifically brutalized, and every second it's on the feet she's in danger of getting her cord cut, and I don't think she's stronger than the girl who slam KO'ed Rose while caught in a Kimura.

She could win...but she's not going to.

I love your confidence Fish! But surely you've seen enough MMA to know you can't be so certain that things will play out the way you think.

Anyone can beat anyone. things happen. Bisping Ko'ed Rockhold after all. I Give Suarez about a 25% chance of winning that fight. That's about 10% more than I gave eye of beating schevchenko.

Personally I still think Suarez is a threat to any strawweight. I'm not going to change my opinion after 1 bad round. But that's  my opinion and you're entitled to yours.

I agree with mikey Suarez seems like heir to the throne. Weli gets a shot cause it's in Asia. Clearly. The only good fighter she beat is Torres.

Edit: not that weli Zhang has no chance. Feel her and Suarez both have about a forty percent chance to beat Andrade. I think weli will fail but Suarez will succeed through her wrestling.
