Murad Machaev is a Russian Master of Sport* in Sambo and Judo. He grew up training in Freestyle wrestling solely, but after time began to invest more in combat sambo, and other disciplines. He is also a student of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.  He has also medalled in Sambo at the Russian and world championships and was the winner of the 2011 Fedor Emelianenko Cup.
