1
- Georges St-Pierre
- "Rush"
- 26-2-0
-
GSP leads this list because he is the UFC WW champion, but he's injured. GSP will defend his title after he recovers against the winner of the Diaz-Condit fight. I personally believe that either of those guys could defeat GSP, and he will lose his title.
-
2
- Carlos Condit
- "The Natural Born Killer"
- 32-14-0
-
Carlos Condit is the interim UFC Welterweight champion now after defeating Nick Diaz. I feel like Condit will be able to defend his title against GSP, but will have a hard time dealing with Jake Ellenberger in the future.
-
3
- Jake Ellenberger
- "The Juggernaut"
- 31-15-0
-
Jake Ellenberger lives up to his nickname "The Juggernaut" simply because the guy hits like a truck. I look forward to see Ellenberger only getting better and will soon be the UFC WW champ.
-
4
- Nick Diaz
- 26-10-0, 2 NC
-
Nick Diaz has been regarded as the second best WW on the planet for years now. Diaz's nasty attitude and unbelievable cardio have gotten him far. His slick BJJ is amongst the best and his boxing is at the top of the WW division.
-
5
- Johny Hendricks
- "Big Rig"
- 18-8-0
-
Well if Jon Fitch was previously at this spot, Johny Hendricks robbed it from him with a HUGE KO. I think Hendricks is always under estimated and I believe that he will be the UFC WW champion in the future. As much as I like Condit, "Big Rig" is not a joke.
-
6
- Jon Fitch
- 32-8-2, 1 NC
-
Jon Fitch has deserved a title shot for years now and he hasn't got it. He just got KO'd by Johny Hendricks which crushed his title shot dreams. I believe that he will fight his way back with his infamous "lay and pray" style, and get back into title contention.

7
- Josh Koscheck
- "Kos"
- 17-11-0
-
Koscheck just KO'd the legend Matt Hughes and looks to be very determined to get another shot at the UFC WW champion. His grudge with GSP will only make the event so much better assuming it happens.
-
8
- Diego Sanchez
- "Nightmare"
- 30-14-0
-
Diego Sanchez will always be on this list. He's one of the most exciting fighters in MMA history and his wars with BJ Penn and Clay Guida will always rank amongst the most exciting in MMA history.
-
9
- Martin Kampmann
- "Hitman"
- 21-7-0
-
After a huge comeback win over Thiago Alves, Martin Kampmann has moved himself into the top 10. Look for him to keep climbing the WW division ladder and possibly fight for the title.
-
10
- Tyron Woodley
- "The Chosen One"
- 19-7-1
-
No one on this list or many other lists is as underrated as Tyron Woodley. He's one of my favorite fighters and I've been watching him since he was just a prospect in the WW division. His wrestling will get him far and he too will soon be a WW champ.
