R1 - Maximov shoots for takedowns off of his strikes. He gets one after a right hook and hangs on to Soriano's leg. Maximov shoots another takedown but eats a big knee up the middle busting open his nose. Maximov jumps on Soriano's back, but Soriano defends his neck. R2 - Maximov baits punches to try to get to a hip and shoot takedowns, but Soriano has shown really strong wrestling defense and scrambling transitions. This was a close round, but Soriano spent most of the round successfully defending, but it was still almost all defense. Maximov 10-9
R3 - Maximov lands some punches while attempting his takedowns. Soriano may have injured his knee on one of the takedowns as his mobility seems diminished. He lands some good body shots of his own from the ground but Maximov controlled the round. Maximov 10-9

R2 - Another front kick for Holmes gets Pickett against the cage early in the round. Pickett wobbles Holmes on the break and cuts him under the eye. This seems to panic Holmes and he fatigue starts to set in quickly. Holmes spends most of the rest of the round clenching trying to recover and stay away from Pickett's power hand. 10-9 Pickett
