It’s funny to me how quickly narratives change. When MVP was in bellator, everyone called him a can crusher and a fraud. Now that he had a good debut (which he was an underdog in btw), he’s now at pickem odds with Garry, and nearly 60% picked on tapology. I like mvp but come on, a win over holland doesn’t magically make him some elite contender; like the dude literally lost to Logan storely not too long ago. I think Logan is a good fighter but anyone who is an alleged top contender in the ufc wouldn’t lose to him. I don’t even like Garry that much but he is going to dominate mvp

Hill vs. Ulberg Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R1 I'm sorry, but idk if I can trust Hill after that last performance especially knowing that the left hook is his kryptonite & that is one of Ulberg's best tools in his game. A habit is a habit & I see that right hand coming down when throwing the left, & when he does ... zzz
Machado Garry vs. Page Michael Page, DEC Love this fight. I think Garry is gonna have a hard time facing someone who has much larger of a reach than him for once. Just checked & Magny did have a longer reach as well, but he has nowhere near the athleticism & power & unorthodox game that MVP brings in.

Didn't you pick Darian weeks to beat Ian garry? I'm not talking **** I'm just saying even you see that there's holes in Ian garrys game. I get he's improving every fight but MVP is a sniper & does Ian garry have good enough grappling to exploit mvps weakest part of his game? I see it more as a 50/50 fight and honestly could be a boring point fighting type of fight
That was long ago, I think he’s improving leaps and bounds every fight (I still don’t like him by the way). He doesn’t need to grapple to beat MVP, he is going to brutalize his legs with calf kicks like Lima did. Garry also has better boxing than MVP, if he cuts the cage off he can cause a lot of issues up close. MVP is live to catch him with one shot, but he hasn’t been able to one shot ko anyone of Ian’s caliber, therefore I’m not inclined to believe he can do it here. I feel like Ian’s defense gets overblown because of the song kenan fight; obviously it was a bad look but if you watch that fight over it’s not as bad as it looked. He got ****y & paid for it, then kenan threw that same combo at least 15 more times and Ian dodged it every single time. The ability to make reads on the fly like that and not fall for the same trap is very impressive. I think he is going to see MVP’s crazy shots coming and outpoint him. Lastly, there’s also the youth edge. I know MVP looked good in his debut, but he is still 37 at the end of the day; Ian is 11 years younger, already fighting at an elite level, and improving every fight. I think getting him at a pickem is insane value, look at his prices against everyone else; -275, -500, -300 and now he’s pickem against an old opponent who’s also ranked lower than him? Nothing has changed about MVP since the Bellator days, he’s just fighting in the ufc now. The point I’m trying to make is when MVP was fighting in bellator last year, the narrative was that he can only beat cans and wouldn’t even be ranked, but now that he beat Kevin holland (a guy notorious for not taking his career seriously), he is all of a sudden going to ko one of the best prospects in the ufc? Again, I don’t like Garry that much, but I think he is much more talented than MVP & I also think recency bias is influencing this line. If this was MVP making his debut against Garry, Garry would be -300 or higher

McGregor vs. Chandler Conor McGregor, TKO, R3 i think this fight could possibly be very boring, i could see chandler gassing out early and mcgregor hasn't been in the octagon in years. I think that mcgregor still is a better striker and chandler is very reckless at times
Hill vs. Ulberg Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R1 i think hill is coming back too early, i thought the fight with him against khalil woulda been cool but this could be present more challenges for hill
Pyfer vs. Barriault Joe Pyfer, TKO, R2 joe gets back on track after his L, probably calls out a a guy ranked 11-15 but i just dont think he beats any of those guys, Pereira would probably beat him, hernandez just submitted kopylov, chris curtis would just be a hard fight, that guy went to a tough decision against allen not too long ago (5 rounds too) my point is Pyfer isn't ready and will get rushed into a fight and get mauled
Machado Garry vs. Page Michael Page, DEC garry won a close decision last fight and MVP is just tough to fight, very unorthodox and stayed out of any real take down trouble against holland
Swanson vs. Fili Andre Fili, SUB Fili is up and down but cub is 40, fili is coming off a bad knockout and is back quickly but i think he's got it

McGregor vs. Chandler Michael Chandler, TKO, R2 If McGregor is anything like his old self I think he knocks out Chandler. I can't count on that though with his leg injury and three year layoff. I think Chandler is taking this fight more serious.

Hill vs. Ulberg Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R1 Ulberg by Check-hook Ko. Jamahal is coming back too soon that he couldn’t recover his damage. On the other hand, Ulberg had a great finish in his last fight in 12 seconds. This fight will go like Pereira fight Jamahal using some kicks and finding range. But, when he tries to throw some thing, I think Ulberg will catch him with the Hook.
Pyfer vs. Barriault Joe Pyfer, DEC Joe has learned a lot from Hermanson fight. I think he will come back more composed and more accurate. He won’t go too wild to finish Marc. He will slowly take the fight one by one. I think 30-26 UD for Joe.
Bueno Silva vs. Chiasson Macy Chiasson, TKO, R3 Silva’s last performance against Raquel was not that much good. On the other hand, Chiasson had a good finish in her last fight. I don’t watch their fights that much but I think Chiasson has the reach advantage and also not a bad Wrestling. I think she could defend Mayra’s wrestling good and She will piece up her in the feet and finish her.
Machado Garry vs. Page Michael Page, TKO, R3 Striker vs Striker. I think MVP will take this one after playing around with Garry for 2-3 rounds getting some knockdowns. Garry couldn’t wrestle much like Holland. So I think MVP will take this one by Mauling Garry. Winner fights Colby Covington I hope.
@AyyLmaonnaiseLet's hope that doesn't happen, because I know a lot of people are looking forward to this fight. Especially the "casual" UFC fanbase. I'm not a Conor hater, but I'm not really interested or invested in this fight at all myself. All I'm hoping for is that this will be a solid card and we'll get a good main event. Whether it's Conor vs Chandler or a replacement fight if that fight gets canceled somehow, someway.
With that said, the UFC is actually ****** if Conor is actually not fighting, since this is a PPV card and has no title fights on it either.
Luckily Ariel said as of right now the fight is still good to go. We will have to see what develops over time. I don’t like Conor either but I really want to see this fight as well
