No idea what the ufc sees in puna. What baffles me is he gets more favorable treatment despite not being a notable prospect, not being a fan fav, or really doing anything special. His manager isn’t abdelaziz so it’s not like he’s begging to management about getting his main card slot. I would much rather the ufc tries to promote someone good like melk or bellato. But no let’s put the hard hitting Hawaiian who loses to anyone with a pulse. Hell even putting tates retirement fight on the main card would make more sense

I was so happy until I got to who will be opening the prelim..... and then I saw brundage.... my mood immediately soured. It was like I suddenly could smell **** and my brain went back to that moment when he quit the fight because of an elbow.
I hope this is his last fight in the ufc.

This fight will show us where Beneil stands compared to the other top lightweights can see Armen out striking daruish. That being said Dariush packs some power and armen has a suspect chin, can see Armens kicks being the difference and beneils offense grappling isn’t nearly as good as his defense so if he losing on the feet he won’t have anyway really to get it to the ground.

Font vs. Figueiredo

Figueiredo’s boxing is the weakest part of his game and fonts strongest. Font has solid takedown defense ( the Sandhagen fight was a one off in terms of font being out grappled) can see font shutting down the takedowns and he will absolutely mog Figueiredo size wise. Only path to victory I see for figueiredo is a heavy grappling pace and try to grind rob font out.
