@ExpertAnalyst I'm pretty sure they are expecting Soriano to show out and KO Stolzfus early. And so do I. Klose could definitely do the same to Solecki, but there's also a chance that Solecki just makes this a clinch and grappling match. Besides, both Solecki as Klose usually takes their fights to a DEC. So that makes the choice easier to put Soriano vs Stolzfus on the main card.

Well Bobby isn't getting anybody in top 8 in rankings, there is only Benoit St. Denis, RDA,Turner,Moicano in top 15 left, I don't know if Benoit would take a short notice fight like this after his win, I don't think RDA will take a fight like this at this stage of his career. Moicano potentially still injured or recovering. So turner is the only one that might be available in the top 15. Unless they do Bobby vs Dober 2 which is always a good fight.

Stolzfus is definitely a live dog. A lot of people are just assuming Soriano knocks him out, but he's actually got a solid chin. Abus was the first one to knock him out and it took a beautiful front kick to the face and some nasty follow up shots. Even then he wasn't out cold. Stolzfus can grapple so I see this going similarly to the Soriano/Maximov fight with Soriano taking a close decision

Max would struggle to be big and strong enough at 155 with a full camp, short notice will be a tough ask against an inform Bobby. Great fight though.
