I know the spelling is obviously different but idk that it gets any cooler than being an MMA fighter and having the last name "Bazooka".

That's a shame. I was really impressed when I watched tape of Santos.

Buzukja

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 1417th

@gliese58i
Buzukja is a much bigger threat to Woodson stylistically.  If he can't strike with Woodson, which I don't think he can he will try and take him down and if he can employ his game plan Woodson is in for a long night.  Also Buzukja never been finished.  Cardio looks to check out.
Id say this is the toughest replacement thus far.

Boser is a favorite bc Camur is as bad as he is. It's really not worth betting on. They both are horrendous

Losing to Cutelaba in the first 2 minutes after changing weight classes isn't the worst loss in the world. He tends to win the first 2 minutes of all of his fights and so far has beaten everyone that has not been in the top 15 that he's faced

These bouts updates are annoying, you can never bet the event before the date cuz it keeps changing every day 🫠

anyone else really feeling Carlston this week, not just as a bet but as a legit pick? I feel like the odds are a lot more accurate than the tap %

Carlson is such an awkward looking striker. Wells is a sloppy powerhouse. Outside of “ending inside the distance” I wouldn’t touch this fight withyourmoney.

I guess I should've been more clear with the "not just as a bet" part. I'm with you, not touching this fight betting wise. but I do feel like it's a lot closer than 84% Wells. it def could go either way, won't be shocked if Carlston gets starched. but after watching the Semelsberger fight, I think I'm leaning Harris tbh (strictly from a prediction perspective)

I was gonna make up time capping this card a bit earlier to get on to the next week but these cancellations keep resetting the timeline.

In this card I'm betting 3 legs parlay with:

Tucker (+147): Lopes had an excellent debut, but Tucker before Ige KO loss was close to entering the Top 15 and avoided being taken to the ground, Tucker will show that he is the most complete MMA fighter in the matchup

Hadley (-200) Hadley comes as a rising prospect and Durden despite having good wrestling, his cardio and striking defense will put him in serious trouble in the late rounds.

Almabaev(-190) Asu calls himself Zulfikar which is an interesting nickname, because Zulfikar was the Ottoman Empire's most famous excutioner and he's remember because he was the most mean excutioner in ancient times: Zulfikar don't use ropes or sword for execution , Zulfikar use his own hands to execute the damned of the empire, I'm picking Asu to sub Ode based on Almabaev experience in Brave CF and beacuse the nickname can be something prophetic.

Parlay Value (+455)

Dennis Buzukja, DEC
Probably a dumb pick but there's something telling me to pick Buzukja even on 4 days notice. Seems to have that dawg mentality, plus woodson hasn't beaten anyone that good in the ufc and hes basically a skeleton

Hadley vs. Durden
Cody Durden, DEC
I'm a fan of Hadley, I think he's really skilled. But this is a tough one to call because both guys kinda match up well against each other. Durden is a good wrestler and Hadley has been too willing to fight off his back at times. However, Cody has been caught by aggressive submission artists and Hadley could do that to him, he also probably has the striking advantage. I'm rooting for Hadley because he's fun but we'll see who stays out of trouble.

I know that in the UK the wrestling background is not as strong as boxing or kickboxing and also Durden is a NCAA wrestling level, but most of the time he fights in heavy wrestling gameplan he finished tired during the second round and in my opinion Johnson last time had a good chance to end the fight with body shots in the second round for example. Despite his training in Tiger Muay Thai, Johnson lacks finishing ability, while Hadley has the eye of the tiger.

Asu seems to be an interesting prospect and Ode doesn't seem very good to me, his last two victories were close decisions against CJ Vergara and Johnson due to their opponents lacking to go looking for the fight more and his all UFC losses was by finishes.

Tucker was about to get into the rankings before Ige knocked him out with a McGregor vs. Aldo-type headshot, if Gavin manages to keep the fight on feet he's gonna win the fight.
