UFC 291
Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 4 Perfect, 680 Points | Tied for 108th
Dustin Poirier, DEC
Barn burner. Gaethje is dangerous but Poirier has an iron chin and seems to always escape at the last second and turn it on his opponent
Błachowicz vs. Pereira
Jan Błachowicz, DEC
The more well rounded fighter. Will probably win minutes as long as he can avoid the late round bombs Pereira used to tag Izzy
Ferguson vs. Green
Green, KO R2
As long as his fight IQ isn't completely gone Green should put away the Boogeyman easily. Ferguson is a walking punching bag way beyond his prime and should have retired fights ago. Showed glimpses in his last fight but as long as Green doesn't play with his food it should be a finish.
Chiesa vs. Holland
Holland, DEC
Two hard nosed guys. Holland can lack a killer instinct at times more often looking to talk to his opoonents than submit them. Chiesa might make this dirty and take it to the scorecards. Fight is way too close to pick with any confidence. This reeks of a split decision
Thompson vs. Pereira
Thompson, DEC
It all comes down to fight IQ in this one. Counting on Thompson to stay at range and jab and avoid any of Pereria's cartwheels and flying knee's. Also trusting him to have better cardio and outlast Pereira even though the vet is north of 40 years old.
Lewis vs. Rogério de Lima
Lewis, KO R1
Lewis has about 90 seconds of stamina, but his opponent moves slower than my grandmother. If he cant get the guy out in the 1st then de Lima may lay on him till he calls it quits for good.
Giles vs. Bonfim
Bonfim, Sub R1
The better Bonfim brother has proven that he doesn't need judges to take out mediocre opponents. I think he is better everywhere but especially on the ground and takes care of a good but not great fighter once again.
Kopylov vs. Riberio
Kopylov DEC
I cant seem to get a good read on the guy but Kopylov seems to just know how to win. I worry about Riberio's cardio and Kopylov impressed after his last bout with Soriano. Give me Kopylov by DEC 29-28
Vergara vs. Salvador
Vergara, KO R2
Both these guys stink. But Vergara has a win over up and comer Kleydson Rodriguez who is no joke. For that reason alone I'll take Vergara
Matthews vs. Flowers
Matthews, Sub R2
Flowers coming in on short notice does him no favors against Matthews who seems to have a big advantage on the ground over Flowers. Tough fight for a UFC debut.
Maverick vs. Cachoeira
Cachoeira, DEC
I couldn't care less. Maverick always seems to be a let down and Cachoeira is tougher. Seems all the underdogs for women's fights have been winning so I'll ride that train
Semelsberger vs. Medic
Semelsberger, DEC
Very close fight. Both good strikers on the feet. Semelsberger known for his toughness and Medic is known for his ability to get his opponent out of there. Which side will prevail? I'll trust in the chin of Semelsberger to outlast Medic in a razor close fight

Jrey making threats is very similar to as if Stephen Hawking made them, cannot be taken serious and should get a good chuckle out of you.

probably gonna just immediately have Jiri fight Ankalaev for the title and whoever wins out of Błachowicz vs Pereira is next in line.

Green is super good at losing by SD/UD.
I don't think fight will go to the ground.
Tony has reach advantage, Green is faster. 3 years younger.
I see Green using his jab and that's it. by UD
but I wont be suprise if Tony gets UD or SD.
same here - I think something will go wrong with the fight lol - head clash or draw or something :)
