Jasudavicius vs. Maverick
Jasmine Jasudavicius, DEC
IGNORE PROPS. Both fighters very durable wrestlers. Although Maverick has more XP, when fighters have the same style (wrestle heavy, low striking) and considering the competitiveness of the 125lb dvsn, dog picking is value. With the size and home court advantage, going with the dog at 3.

Kyle Nelson Vs Bilder

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 427th

Seen a lot of Bilder over Nelson postings calling Nelson trash. Isn’t by far anything of an amazing fighter but I think he definitely still has a good chance.
If Bilder would’ve beat Shane Young impressively then I would’ve been leaning more towards Bilder, but I wasn’t impressed at all by the win. Given I don’t know how anyone could score that fight as Young beating Bilder, I just can’t be impressed by the output put out by Bilder against someone who didn’t even have any real pop on his shots. Nothing Young gave Bilder seem to have any ill intent on the back of it on top of looking pretty slow as well.
For him to be off for 2yrs and come back looking like that, sheesh. Lol Not a fight to hang your hat on.

Nelson for me is a more capable fighter than Young by a pretty good margin, and so far will be the biggest fighter in terms of size with that much experience Bilder has faced. If that’s Nelson in Young’s place I believe he could’ve pulled out a split 29-28.

Will be a close fight, Bilders biggest test so far.
If Bilder doesn’t see this fight as that, this will go:

Kyle Nelson by Dec

Edit* I would welcome any downvotes to plz comment with their thoughts, don’t be scary lol

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 275 Points   |   Tied for 2470th

Nunes vs. Aldana
Amanda Nunes, TKO
i dont think amanda is dumb enough to stand and trade if it gets bad on the feet and aldana has a major grappling weakness that i think nunes can easily exploit

Oliveira vs. Dariush
Charles Oliveira
man i'm nervous, a lot of things are going against oliveira in this matchup, but i just can't pick against my boi

Malott vs. Fugitt
Adam Fugitt
i think fuggit is underrated in this matchup, i don't see this being an easy fight for mallot and being in his hometown on the ppv dies not give me any confidence, where as fugitt gives me the vibe where he doesnt care where he fights

Ige vs. Landwehr
Dan Ige, TKO
man i wish nate can win this fight, but i can't ignore ige's ability and how he can implement them. still rooting for nate the train

Anders vs. Barriault
Marc-André Barriault, DEC
i think the cardio of marc will win him this fight, he's tough and has the grappling skills to make anders hesitate on the feet

Imavov vs. Curtis
Nassourdine Imavov
imavov has the footwork to make it hard to land on him in the fight, what makes me less confident is that chris has been training wit sean who beat imavov, i know they don't share styles, but that info is really valuable when it comes to fights

Jasudavicius vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, DEC
i think we've seen the limit of jasmine, and i think she'll be neutralized in this fight and be beat to a decision

Zahabi vs. Aoriqileng
Aoriqileng
i just think the younger fighter will get it done, plus he's been more active

Bilder vs. Nelson
Blake Bilder, DEC
i don't think nelson is ufc level, and blider will be able to stick and move on him

Dvořák vs. Erceg
David Dvořák
more experience, thats all

Belbiţă vs. Oliveira
Diana Belbiţă
i just really hate oliveira style, i get its fun, but it looks more like trying out moves you've seen in fights instead of actual learned moves

Watching film... starting to lean Kyle Nelson by KO, had Ferriera hurt early, Quarantillo hurt early and did well against Herbert round 1.

Blake Bilder in his CFFC title run was dropped a total of 3 times in 2 fights, and doesn't have phenomenal wrestling.

Nelson does tend to gas but with a full training camp his cardio should hold up a lot better.

@CrimsonChinGuru

I feel the same, I was able to confidently match Nelson against all of Bilders opponents.
I think majority of Nelson’s opponents give Bilder trouble. Nelson given is at the bottom half of most of his opponents but so is Bilder. Lol
For some reason majority of others are blind to this.

I hope Nunes is training hard because if she shows up with 1-1.5 rounds of cardio in her like the first Pena fight, I think Aldana should win then because all Aldana has to do is survive until Nunes gasses, but if Nunes is coming in with 5 round cardio, I think she a lock, Aldana isn't that good, She dangerous and is alway live for a finish, But she had comeback wins over Betch and Macy, And got schooled by Holly Holm

I need to look at the training Nunes is doing, Having bad cardio isn't going to fly in WMMA,

I think Anders is a top 40 MW and MAB has a higher ceiling

@MrFishweir

U must be wanting to sit on couch for 10 hrs lol. Some of the decisions I understand but I don't see Bilder or Malott going to the cards. Ige/Landwehr, Oliveira/Dariush has the possibility of ending early too.

Oliveira/Dariush

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 2178th

Seeing a lot of intersting opinions about this fight. The way I see it is reasonably easy to break down.

Basically Dariush is the superior grappler. His overall BJJ is better than Charles and I could even see him getting a submission. When Charles goes for submissions off his back I can see Dariush passing him as he leaves openings when he is on his back. Dariush is also the better wreslter by far, so when this hits the ground I am almost certain Dariush will be on top, which is not good news for Charles.

Where I think Charles has the best opportunity to win is with the striking. He definitely has solid Muay Thai and has a lot of power. And the one area I do not trust Benny is that it is possible to goad him into a brawl and I do not trust his chin one bit. That said Benny has very good striking himself and quite a bit of power, so I could see him also catching Charles who has questionable durability too.

All in all I am leaning Benny, because I think he is better with his BJJ and is definitely the better wrestler with comparable striking. If he loses I think it will be by KO. If Benny wins it could be by submission, KO or decision. I can see all 3 outcomes happening.

I suppose the under/fight does not go is the more likely possibility, but I could definitely see this one go to decision as well. So I would advise caution with Fight does not go bets. Remember what happened with the Pineda/Caceraes fight along with so many other recent fights that were supposed to end early but went the distance.

Curtis/Imavov

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 2178th

Again a very interesting fight. Also interesting that Curtis took this fight soon after Imavov fought Strickland. Very interesting indeed!

Basically Imavov has 2 problems in my view. The first is his cardio. I cannot trust him in round 3 and I think Curtis wins that round. The second problem is that Imavov has trouble fighting when going backwards. This is partially the reason Strickland had success against him because he was pressuring him and moving forwards.

The problems Curtis has is first he is at a size disadvantage. But what is interesting about that is that though he is shorter he has a similar reach (if the measurables are to be believed) and I wonder if that will make it easier to land his body shots which he really is good at. The next problem is that he is a very good counter striker, but has less volume and is not as good at pressing forward (the way to beat Imavov) or cutting off the cage when someone is moving a lot (Hermansson fight). Can Curtis pressure Imavov, get in the pocket and land body shots and wear him out? Or can Imavov keep the distance and range and out strike him from a distance. That's the fight in a nutshell the way I see it, as I do not think it hits the ground much.

I lean Curtis. I think his camp knows something after the Imavov-Strickland fight. I am going to pick him by a late KO or decision.

Nunes/Aldana

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 2178th

I think if anyone is picking Aldana to win this fight that will be a mistake. Nunes is very likely going to make this look easy. Nunes is better everywhere and Aldana is not only hittable but her ground game is far far below Nunes. I don't really have much to break down here. I think if anyone is picking Aldana I think they are doing that based on the narrative that Nunes is done or over the hill. That's a big mistake. If you are picking Aldana, please go watch the Chiasson fight again, and picture what will happen to Aldana on the ground with Nunes on top of her.
