NATE THE TRAIN IN THE UFC! I love this guy, he's got great charisma and deserves to be on the main card. Dan Ige is someone who can definitely catch him but Nate has seemed to be cleaning up his game and not getting as reckless as he use to be.

Anthony Smith says he looks forward to Amanda Nunez retiring , not that he wants her to, but that she's accomplished enough that maybe her motivation isn't there with all the great things she's got going on in her personal life mmafighting just posted

I want Charles to win, but damn this is a tough fight. BUT ALSO... I do love the idea of Beneil going to Abu Dabi again and committing blasphemy on the post-fight interview, that **** was hilarious (Based Beneil) Either way, I feel bad. But this should be fun regardless.

I agree same, someone who should retire might be able to look at a fellow retiree and say its time just something to think about any chance she does if she looses?

you are wrong already. Promise you that. I am not saying Olivera will win, but there won't be dominance from any of 'em two.

Ige will KO Nate and the hype train will be over. For real.

Always willing to give people who break down fights a shot and when I find such that I consider skillful I will listen to them at work to get a second opinion to challenge my own takes.
You need to work on that sound quality though, that's a tough sell to have to listen to it in its current state unfortunately.

Because if whoever wins this fight ends up winning the title, the loser could just as easily become the #1 contender in short order.

So then it's a rematch, but this time it's 5 rounds AND for the belt. Not quite as exciting if the two have fought 5 rounds already. Sure, now the belt is on the line, but the curiosity behind what happens in the championship rounds isn't as special.

I'm really stuck, it seems like Charles should be favored but I can't shake the gut feeling that Dariush will win. Maybe it's how they've looked recently, Dariush was KOd stiff a while ago but has been dominant since. Even against Gamrot in a competitive fight he looked pretty immovable. Charles has looked shaky in every win since the Chandler fight, he's got that dog but it's still worrying...
And there is something to be said about level of competition too, the best guy that Dariush beat was probably Gamrot and Charles was literally the champion. It's tough man, can they both win?

Dvorak vs BR Silva

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 427th

Wondering ppls opinion of this fight
After watching this fight, I was kind of surprised how close it was after seeing a lot of the Dvorak picks. Especially after watching the Kape and Nicolau fight. Kape fight was much worse for him than the Nicolau but Nic was moving him when he connected and definitely had the more punishing blows. If that fight was 2 more rds Nic probably finishes him.
What also surprised me was how similar the fight stats were. All 3 fight were definitely similar in its output but still very different in the results/damage.

Something I find interesting is how much emphasis was/is put on his finishing streak before getting to the ufc but looking at most of the guys he faced there weren’t too many that good. Hearing that and seeing even in losses how tough he is and how well he fights put his 10rank a lil bit higher on a pedestal than I have it now after watching the Bruno Silva fight.

With all that being said i believes he gets it done, strong will and definitely no where near a scrub fighter. I’d say the best fighter Erceg fought was Haddon. They called that fight a Udec for Erceg but Haddon is pretty close to being his Bruno Silva, the fight was a bit closer than an Udec to me. Haddon was able to def a few takedowns well, when he was taken down he was able to get up and fight out of submission attempts. Haddon gave him alot to handle and I wouldn’t put Haddon anywhere close to Dvorak.
I just think there may be a future out there where a fighter similar to Dvoraks pre ufc record and majority finishes comes in gives him a tough fight, and inches out a surprise decision just look he did with Bruno Silva.
Would be a crazy coincidence but Erceg is definitely not that coincidence haha

Dvorak with the finish for sure tho.

For me its 60/40 Charles if you take into account the resume and age more like 75/25.
But all Benny needs is a little luck and none of this will matter.

Charles x Dariush

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 340 Points   |   Tied for 1276th

When this fight got announced, I was really worried about how Charles would be after the Makachev loss... But, as we are getting closer to the event, I'm feeling confident that he's gonna win this one.

Dariush was pretty impressive against Gamrot, but Mateusz doesn't have the stand-up that Charles has nor his pressure.

I think Charles will be a tiny bit more cautious on the feet (at least, I hope he doesn't try another flying knee from such a long distance). Benny will probably try to stand and bang with Charles in the first, and I imagine this is gonna be his downfall. He'll probably make it competitive, but I have a feeling that Charles will put him to sleep in the very first half of the fight.

Anyway, rooting for Do Bronx. Brasil, porra!
