I actually am going to live bet it.  I do think Phil can defend take downs from Ikram.  But I also think the live bet may be a better way to go.  If Ikram gets caught with something, no damage done.

Casual New Predictions

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 425 Points   |   Tied for 1555th

Dober vs. Frevola
I go for Drew Dober at -210. He has an advanced armpit slam. Dober ought to assist the TV audience.

Gracie vs. Jourdain
I take Charles Jourdain at -175. He has a noble kouchi gari. Jourdain is gonna realign the masterpiece.

Andrade vs. Yan
I want Jéssica Andrade at -200. She has a kinky tai otoshi and a wondrous side kick to the throat. Andrade could kick the dark horse.

Holmes vs. Ribeiro
I embrace Claudio Ribeiro at -185. He has a valiant crossface. Ribeiro isn't about to usurp the underdog. Fix und fertig!

Aliskerov vs. Hawes
I choose Ikram Aliskerov at -200. He has a zingy bolo punch and a resilient diet and also a scintillating quivering palm death touch. Aliskerov ought to ruin the senses.

Muhammad vs. Burns
I am all about Gilbert Burns at -130. He has a yucky uppercut. Burns shall employ the performance.

Evloev vs. Lopes
I elect Movsar Evloev at -900. He has a judicious mentality. Evloev won't blast the performance.

Porter vs. Smith
I am sniffing Parker Porter at -170. He has a heavenly overhand. Porter should penetrate the senses.

Rodriguez vs. Jandiroba
I am enamored with Marina Rodriguez at -135. She has a quirky dim mak and a valiant mentality. Rodriguez is about to boil the dark horse. So say we all!

Williams vs. Bedoya
I want Khaos Williams at -335. He has a brackish ground and pound and a voluptuous stutter step. Williams isn't about to bully the counteragent.

Clark vs. Nzechukwu
I appoint Kennedy Nzechukwu at -190. He has a brilliant right hand. Nzechukwu will handle the crowd noise.

Only bet I have right now is Cejudo 4th/5th round KO at +1500, Bit of a long shot, But I think Sterling has  cardio issue and if Cejudo goes to the kill I think he could get the finish late unlike Petr Yan who thought he won the 1st and tried to play it safe in the last 2 rounds when Sterling was done

I can feel some upsets coming

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 1798th

My types as above but I can still see some big upsets tonight, main candidates from my picks perspective: Holmes (pick changed last moment to Ribeiro), Porter( he always kills my parlays one way or another), Clark( he can find a chin in exchange or get it to the ground), Jourdain (if he keeps it standing he can win decision) any one of them have a decent and clear path to win. Main fight... octagon active and bigger Sterling can pull it against 3-year-away Cejudo but I just can't force myself to pick him. Exciting one to come for sure!

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 445 Points   |   Tied for 1234th

Sterling vs. Cejudo
Aljamain Sterling, DEC
Completely bias pick. I just dont like Cejudo. I think Sterling has got a very good chance though. Hes the much bigger man and would have never made flyweight. They say you improve as a fighter a lot when you become the champ. Hope the champ gets it done with a home crowd.

Muhammad vs. Burns
Gilbert Burns, DEC
I was always going to go with Burns here. The rumours of Belals bad ankle only cemented that decision. Burns is a lot better on the feet and isnt a guy you want to shoot on recklessly.

Andrade vs. Yan
Jéssica Andrade, DEC
I see Andrade bullying Yan on the ground if she can get the fight there.

Evloev vs. Lopes
Movsar Evloev, DEC
Another rough debut. Evloev shouldnt have many problems here.

Gracie vs. Jourdain
Kron Gracie, SUB, R1
Jiujitsu or bust for Gracie. If Jourdain can get out of the first round it could get frustrating for Gracie. Jourdain has been taken down at least once in all his fights so far. Kron only needs 1 takedown though.

Dober vs. Frevola
Drew Dober, TKO, R2
FOTN i think. Very tough pick but i think Dober has more power and his chin is legendary.

Clark vs. Nzechukwu
Kennedy Nzechukwu, TKO, R2
Have to go with the bigger man here. Clark has never beaten anyone decent.

Williams vs. Bedoya
Khaos Williams, TKO, R1
Crazy matchup for a debut for Bedoya. Khaos is coming off a loss and will be extra hungry. Bedoya is in real trouble here i think.

Rodriguez vs. Jandiroba
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
Think Marina should be able to keep this standing. She has the experience now. Virna just doesnt have the same level of striking.

Porter vs. Smith
Parker Porter, TKO, R2
Smith has never seen a 2nd round. Thats a good and a bad thing. The amount of muscle he carries is concerning. If he doesnt get the finish quickly, i have Porter outworking him in the 2nd.

Aliskerov vs. Hawes
Ikram Aliskerov, DEC
Phil Hawes is very hot and cold. Never know which version of him turns up. Taking Ikram whos trained with Khabib's crew. Chimaev couldnt take this guy down.

Holmes vs. Ribeiro
Claudio Ribeiro, TKO, R1
Dont think Holmes offers much danger standing. Tends to move straight back too. See Ribeiro blitzing Holmes early with heavy hands and calf kicks.
