Izzy Speech EPIC

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 1757th

Did decent for off the top of my head picks.

- Nuerdanbieke  was the fluke in my picks
- I actually picked Pinheiro against Waterson tonight after doing research.
- Lupita came through well tonight as she should
- Masvidal - It's alright my boy, next time.
- Glad I faded the Amorim fight. Dont pick new fighters until I see em in UFC after their debut.

Whittaker was doing a watch party for the UFC. You could clearly see the disappointment on his face after seeing that Pereira got KO'd

There's nobody deserving a title fight other than Rob unfortunately. Du Plessis and Chimaev need another win imo.

in***x   Yeah, Rob is in a very ****** situation. I really wonder what they are going to do with him if Izzy stays champ for a while and Rob keeps winning. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they give Rob another shot, just like they did with Holloway vs Volk

Yeah, to say that winning by KO is a fluke is stupid. That along with submission are the only true ways to win a fight. This whole decision/points stuff is only a way to wrap up a fight where nobody is able to really win in a reasonable amount of time.

Damn. Horrible card for me, props to anyone who did well.

Lost a bit cashing out on Rosas, made a small comeback with Holland, Burns, Main Event O1.5 but the Rosas loss really stopped me profiting this week.

I did bad tonight on picks wise I love this sport guys I do film study and everything I want to get better at predicting fights thow it sucks to have a losing record I finished 5-7 on straight fight picks witch isn’t good trying to get some advice to help with film study I look at fighter’s records their KO records their SUB records I watch their last fight what else should I be looking at I usually just take the grappler as I feel if the grappler can get the fight to the ground that they will easily be able to rack points up on the score cards with the judges but what else should I be looking at any advice I definitely appreciate guys thanks in advance it sucks losing I want to get better

MMAFan08   If you do watch tape, you should look at how the fighters match up against each other. Meaning, that you should look for holes and if the other fighter can capitalize off of it and vice versa. So don't solely focus and rely on someones skills, because some fighters just don't match up well against others depending on what they bring to the table. Styles make fights after all.

Thank you noxx you right man styles do make fights I’m always trying to find the Khabibs thow it’s difficult to try and break film down on striking exchanges for me or less real damage is being deal but sometimes it’s like fighter A hits fighter B and fighter B hits fighter A in exchanges and the shots look about even and not so damaging when it comes to clinching looking for who’s throwing elbows knees uppercuts as their the more devastating strikes in the clinches I feel I definitely love the plum clinch especially the one Anderson Silva did to Rich Franklin in the first fight back at UFC 64 in 2006 that clinch was deadly because the power you can throw into your knees to the face well just go back to that fight Anderson was a master at that but striking has always been something that has been difficult for me to breakdown I try to look at who is opening up with leg kicks throwing elbows knees I try to stay away from the spinning s*** because well that was proven last month with Shevchenko and Grasso I don’t like spinning s*** from my fighters I never like my fighter giving their back in any kind of way I definitely appreciate the advice man
