ZIam - Figlak

Predictions: 2 of 2 Winners, 1 Perfect, 140 Points   |   Tied for 4075th

If Figlak doesn't pressure Ziam he will lose to a decision because Ziam will just circle the cage for 15 minutes point fighting

He's a prospect but fights like he's a champion already, I was so pleased when McKinney just mauled right through him after seeing the way Luigi lost to him, that was suppose to be a W for Luigi but he waited too long to let his hands go

Lots of good matchups! I hope the French commission knows what they're doing and there won't be any controversial stuff happening!

Peoples Main Event

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 615 Points   |   Tied for 584th

If Charles Jordain and Nathaniel Wood both show up at top level we will get a great fight.

Jordain's losses mostly included takedowns which he doesn't go for.

I think Wood will do enough to win the English fans in a close firefight but the French Judges are out to avenge the burgos robbery.

Also don't be surprised by a 3rd round submission on either side.

I agree. If Charles can contain himself enough in round one , it will be good. If he goes all out Rd 1 tryna finish Wood , itll be a long night for him.

Buckley is on the prelims because that highlight reel knockout is his only claim to fame.

'Rising Star' Tai Tuivasa.
Lost 3 in a row and was cut by UFC.
Comes back and wins 5 in a row...let's take a look at his opponents.
In his last five wins, Tuivasa's opponents have a 5-fight look back record of 7-18.
Lewis 2-3, Sakai 1-4, Hardy 2-3 (cut), Hunsucker 1-4 (probably cut?), Struve 1-4 (retired).
Props to Tai for scoring a main event here, but Gane is going to expose him bad. His (lack of) grappling got him into trouble before, easily could see a sub for Gane.

Thankfully for Figlak, pressure is the gameplan for his every fight.

@gilese that’s exactly what I was seeing. This seems like a bad matchup for ziam. As unproven as Figlak is, he instantly closes the distance every single fight and ziam does not like being pressured at all

I think Tuivasa has too good of a chin to get knocked out, but there could be a TKO by the end of round 3/championship rounds if Gane ends up picking him apart that bad. My guess to why they put Imavov and Buckley on the prelims is b/c I think they are expecting Imavov to point fight him and wrestle him, and it will probably look like an Adesanya fight if Adesanya actually initiated wrestling in his fights. Imavov wasn't able to knock out Hawes let alone beat Hawes tho, so you never know. Buckley does have the x-factor of having stupid power and his technique and IQ has definitely improved since he got knocked out the last time. We have to keep in my mind that Charles Johnson, Khoas Williams, and Jamahal Hill (I believe) are in his gym and those dudes are actually pretty good, so they are starting to build something there.

I'm going to watch tape on Perez now, To see why she such a big underdog
