The perfect matchup of Precision versus Power. Definitely going with Gane on this one, I don't see this going past 3 rds tbh. Tuivasa is exciting too & always has the "punchers chance" though, also he has been making it his mission to improve on his cardio so this will be interesting to see how it all plays out. May the best man win!

Why is imavov/Buckley so far down on the card. Below di Chirrico/kopylov & stotlzfus/magamedov. The ufc is so dumb at card lineups sometimes

Gane lost to Francis in that fight. Francis is the man, until someone beats him, I think the winner of this fight will get a title shot with Francis again early next year when Francis knee heals, Let see who the man of heavyweight is

I respect Ngannou's drive and work ethic (to come from digging holes in Cameroon to where he's at now is incredible) but it's hard to respect him as a fighter in the technical sense because he kinda just swings like an idiot sometimes, see his Rozenstruik fight. if he didn't have his insane god given power I don't really know where he would stand at hw. if someone approaches Francis the same way Fury did Wilder in the 2nd fight (back down the big scary power puncher) I doubt anyone would be calling Francis the man

I just don't get people kept discrediting Francis while trying at the same time to suck Gane's ****, It just doesn't make sense, It silly to call Francis untalented and praise Gane as Francis won, I think you should respect both man are they are great figthers I respect how Gane made it so Francis had to wresle him to win, And I respect even more how Francis did something he never did before, And had a comeback win with wresling of all things, With a torn ACL

Ciryl Gane is the best technical striker ever in UFC heavyweight history, But Francis is the man until Gane can stop the wresling and beat him, You have to be a excellent fighter to win and defend a UFC belt, And to beat the likes of Stipe, Gane and Blaydes

I like Marvin but I agree with most people that Whittaker is just a close 2nd behind Adesanya.

I do respect Francis, and I'm not discrediting him. he's an incredibly accomplished fighter and a remarkably effective fighter. EFFECTIVE, not technically talented

I used one metaphor and Duck wrote twelve paragraphs that “actually Francis won the fight”.

Yeah dude we know. Engage with the essence of what I said or scroll past it.

it's the same as Horn vs Pacquiao for example, although not as egregious. yeah, technically it was a draw, but I mean come on. the final result of a fight doesn't always tell the entire story, and the judges don't always get it right

(there's plenty of better examples of robberies but that's just the first one that came to my head)

It happens all the time. Someone proves themselves to have a much higher skill ceiling, and then a savvy vet gets a couple takedowns, holds top control just long enough, and wins on the scorecards. But the story of the fight is different from the official result.

The only two people that I’m really confident are going to win this week are Gane and Imavov, outside of those two every other fight just seems sketchy to me idk why.

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 2975th

Gane vs. Tuivasa
Ciryl Gane, DEC
Gane is most likely going to 50-45 him, but it's going to be interesting to see how Gane deal with Tai leg kicks. Tai is also very fast and fluid for a guy his size

Whittaker vs. Vettori
Robert Whittaker, DEC
Whittaker but it's going to be competitive. It's very hard to look good against Vettori.

Gomis vs. Errens
William Gomis, TKO, R2
Gomis is still a bit unpolished, But man he's such a good athlete. So fast and explosive on the feet.

Imavov vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
i'm surprised that imavov is the overwhelming favorite on tapology. Buckley impressed the hell out of me in his last fight against dudaev. I think imavov should be the slight favorite but i like buckley as a underdog.

Taha vs. Quiñonez
Cristian Quiñonez, DEC
Risky pick because Christian doesn't have a good chin and Taha can crack.

Can't really say the fight shown who the most talented heavyweight on earth if he lost. That just silly, Also, You using Francis athletic ability to say he's not talented, While Gane is just about as much of an crazy athlete, Gane doesn't have power like Francis, But he still an crazy athlete

I really think both Gane and Francis are really talented, I called Gane the Michel Jordon of heavyweight striking earlier on the forem, But Francis is also very talented, You can't defend the title in the UFC, and be bad.

I respect Francis because he beat Gane, And I really respect Gane as a fighter, Winning is the only thing that matter, I just think Insulting Francis and prasing Gane is stupid, Give both men they're respect, It's like now dissing Sterling, But Prasing Yan, I respect Sterling as a fighter because he beat Yan in a none DQ win
