@Moorlady I hear you in the sense he took no damage and thought he could’ve held out a bit too but when your not really defending and and getting your head dribbled your kinda saying you want out. Not because he’s not tough at all or at all hurt but that’s what exhaustion does to you. Kid has a huge future but needs to learn some pacing. I’m not even sure it’s terrible cardio but pick your shots and slow it down a bit. You can’t just sprint as he starts facing these higher level veterans. Learning experience he has time and still made a fun showing. His names getting out there in fun fights.

McKinney needs to learn to pace himself, he has tremendous talent but you can't finish everyone in the first round, especially someone as tough as Drew Dober. If he picked his shots better the fight could have had a different result.

He did have a shiner over his right eyebrow. And just because you and Peterson think it's time to tap, doesn't mean he was ready to tap. He was well conscious. This is why I question whether early referee interventions (especially when the fighters' arms are still up) are appropriate in my other thread.
