Kyoji was too loose and didn't stick to his plan. He could of dominated Pettis in the clinch and wrestling the whole fight. He got too carried away with those fake takedowns and he left himself open every time he did that.

@Rich Pettis was doing good stopping the takedowns in that 4th round even if some were only faints. And Horiguchi fights with that loose style in literally every fight he has, its what makes him good

Bantamweight Grand Prix isn’t really that fun of a contest. It was always a competition for #2, Raufeon was always the best fighter in this division. Raufeon would give anyone in the top 5 of the UFC a run for their money. Not saying he’d be champ, but he’d be too 5 for sure.

Orrr maybe Kennedy is just a better fighter..?
Kennedy was 3-1 in the UFC with his lone loss coming to the champ at 145. The guy is a savage. Anyone with a clue knew Kennedy was going to win this fight. Of course tho, white fighters never get the credit they deserve for some reason.

He was gassing out and was down 2-0 and then pulled off a crazy comeback sub. At least I think that’s what happened, I blacked out sometime around that fight
