I have never not been excited for a UFC card no matter how underwhelming the fights have looked....especially after coming off of a month with no UFC action...but OOF.

I will probably be watching the NFL games over most of this card and that is sad. I do wanna see Giga v Kattar.

Just 1 more week until we get to see Gane vs Ngannou if that fight holds up I'll make it.

Wow, this card has lost every interesting fight on it except the main event and maybe Royval-Bontorin. And there's still time for people to miss weight or get last minute COVID positives.

This is more winnable for Brown I believe. He sticks the jab well and his 1-2 is pretty neat.

Kelleher vs. Croom

I really wanted to see Kakhramonov fight instead but it is what it is

I think Giga win streak is really manufactured, His 7 fight win streak isn't that impresive, I think he get expose soon, Now the UFC are just giving him stylisic softballs with high ranking, before the Edson wins, He fought 3 10-7 batamweight, Cub Swanson who shopworn, Jamel Emeer and Omar Moreles

And honesly Edson just a more shopworn version of Giga, I also think Katter in the same catergury as Edson, I think Katter is just a magnet to get kick, I love it for Katter to win, But this seem like a easy stylisic matchup for giga

I could see another reallty where Giga was fighting featherweight, who's not old, 10-7 or  who can wresle, He won't be 7-0 in the UFC that for sure, It be a lot more checkerd, I think Giga will get expose soon, Just don't think Katter the guy to do it, He's a hype train

@Duck I agree about the kicks, especially low kicks. Kattar has been beaten that way before and Giga's kicks are either the best or top 3 in UFC. It's a legit concern.

Giga Vs Kattar

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 450 Points   |   Tied for 359th

A few thoughts on the match up since its about the only good one left - Reasons why I think Giga is going to get exposed and smashed by Kattar

1. Its in the small Apex cage - this favours Kattar and his boxing
2. I gaurantee that Kattar will wrestle and cage wrestle/clinch - Gigas kicks could be caught and taken down
3. Giga will gas - his whole career at Glory was based on 3 minute rounds
4. Giga will not be able to KO Kattar unless he is very lucky - if he does not get Kattar out of there in 2 rounds he is seriously in trouble
5. Giga fights with his hands down - Kattar will likely catch him over the top of a kick at some point
6. Giga is already arrogant and looking past Kattar asking for title shots - win your fight first mate!
7. All Giga's wins in the UFC are questionable or have caveats - including the Barboza fight that everyone is so impressed by (Remember most ppl were picking him to lose this fight)
8. Giga is delusional - he thinks he is the best striker in MMA
9. This is not kick boxing, this is MMA

Kattar now is a bigger underdog against Giga than he was against Max Holloway. That is a joke.

Giga is ******

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 1051st

I don’t see why Damien is getting all those dislikes for being right. Beating Barboza is impressive in it’s own right, but that matchup was perfect for Giga because Barboza fights from a kicking range, so his old-school 110% power kicking game didn’t stand much of a chance against the more technical and strategic Giga. In fact, pretty much all of Giga’s wins are perfect for him as matchups. They’re either solid strikers who fight at a distance and one-and-done cans. Kattar is a more powerful, reactive and offensive threat than Giga has ever faced in the past. He has all the tools to rip into Giga and all it takes it one well-timed counter to put Giga’s lights out. The only things I’d be concerned about is how much accumulated damage he’s taken since his last fight, and whether or not his high guard will **** him over when Giga inevitably lands a liver kick. That being said, even if Giga did land a kick, Calvin is super-humanly durable, this ************ uses rusty nails as toothpicks to get the scales from the gator he just killed and ate out of his gums. Calvin is so tough, he’s a regular at the salty spittoon.

Kattar via R4 KO

I think Giga is being overhyped for this fight, I get it, he's skilled and is on a win streak. But I'm not super impressed by his last win wins. He beat a guy who was fighting on short notice and just wasn't that good, he beat an old cub who has been through a ton of ****, then he beat a guy who's a monster, but he also loses a lot because he decides his performances based on a coin flip.

But even outside of that, I don't see a lot of things he has over Max. I'm not saying Calvin is going to run through Giga, but he's a really good boxer and doesn't really have a physical disadvantage in this fight. But Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass again.

Draft Kings Cash Game Advice

Do you guys think this is a good main event to draft both fighters, for a DK cash game?

Is it a "fire fight" decision where both fighters land a lot and score well?
