Of course the guy with the inconclusive test and two heavyweights are the only three who haven’t weighed in. I bet Brito misses weight

Also Brito strikes me as a guy who cuts a **** load of weigh so not surprising he looked bad

I'm going back and forth on the Borschev/Bush fight.  Bush has the tools, and I wonder if Krause showed him how best to use them.  Chances are, though, Borschev gonna come in like he does and if Bush isn't prepared, it may be a bad day for him...

Same with the Holmes/Pickett fight.  Keep going back and forth.
Holmes getting the W on his UFC debut would be great, and he has the ability to sub Pickett, by dipping beneath one of Pickett's haymakers--unless Pickett connects with one of those big punches first.  It seems like Pickett may be underestimated here which are words I will probably have to eat for supper.

I get the logic there, but we have to keep in mind that Jamie got a win over a blown up MW with no finishing quality last time around, and before that he got a contract off of beating the same guy that Holmes also disposed of in his last.

Jamie has largely been a test for prospects to display their gas tank since he can be durable, but other than that he doesn't present much in the way of a threat. If Joseph can't beat him, then I think that says more about him than it does about Pickett.

PS: I do feel bad about pretty much just saying such mean **** about Jamie, but it really is just how I see it. Same deal with TJ Brown - I think these two are very fortunate to still be in the UFC.

Yeah I feel that for both. I’m still decently confident in Slavs because he literally knows every one of his opponents game plans is to take him down. In watching tape, his get up game is smooth and he hit a really sweet reversal in one fight I saw. I’ve also never seen him held down for more than a minute at a time too.

I’m with you on Pickett and Holmes tho. I think Holmes is more skilled but he’s so green idk if I can trust him. I saw the lookin for a fight that he was featured on and the only reason he got a contract is because James Krause told Dana he was ready. Dana was prepared to give him a contender series appearance after a year but Krause said he’s ready. Obviously Krause is a phenomenal coach but of course he’s gonna tell Dana that his guy is ready for the ufc. My main reasoning for going with Holmes is because Pickett is so terrible against grapplers. He will have the striking advantage tho as crazy as that sounds. It’s gonna bother me so much if Holmes loses and I didn’t go Pickett, because everything is telling me he’ll upset but at the same time I really don’t want to pick Jamie Pickett lol

Yeah exactly. He might not be a great fighter (at least at this point in his career) but at least he is good in the grappling realm

Sherman vs. Collier
Chase Sherman, TKO, R2
This fight stinks, should be earlier on the card but they slap a HW fight up here for people who just wanna watch two big dudes get sweaty

Chookagian vs. Maia II
Jennifer Maia, DEC
Gonna use this fight to take a bathroom break

Bush vs. Borshchev
Viacheslav Borshchev, TKO, R1
It really pains me to pick against Hairy Bush, but I feel confident Borshchev is just better everywhere.

Pickett vs. Holmes
Joseph Holmes, TKO, R2
**** yeah Ugly Man!! This is a tough debut fight but he's a bad ************

Brown vs. Rosa
TJ Brown, DEC
I'd pick Rosa if this wasn't short notice

Kelleher vs. Croom
Brian Kelleher, TKO, R1
3 days notice is a terrible idea. I respect Croom's attitude but it will not do wonders for his record.

I would honestly rather watch Collier vs Sherman then Chook vs Maia at the minumon,  just for Collier, I just find Collier funny now, Dude put on like 100lb pound of fat, I just find him being fat funny, And a bit sad at the same time, How you let yourself go like that,

But I wish Rovyal vs Bontarin was co-main, That fight seem really fun, And it not the ironic fun, it real fun, I think that be fight of the night
