Yeah I don’t see many upsets on this card but I think this will be one. At least according to the betting odds, not sure about general consensus

I agree he should be favorite but I was surprised to see -260. But apparently the market agrees becauses he's already down to -210 and dropping. Besides I think short notice is a bit overrated for established UFC guys. I'm sure they stay training if they are going to accept it maybe just not quite as hard

Not really even that many wide enough fights to be considered upsets lol. I mean if a +130 dog wins is that really considered an upset?

If you can get caught by Jordan Griffin of all people, you can get caught by Rosa. The odds on TJ are crazy even taking account the short-notice for Charles. Brown should arguably be 0-3 in the UFC.

Weird update. Brito isn’t going to media day because of covid but the fights not off because he’s not positive. He’s getting retested. That’s how they should do everything tbh just because you’re a close contact doesn’t mean you have covid

I also don’t understand fighters getting covid, it’s not that hard to follow protocols. I haven’t masked since the start and I’ve only gotten covid once. The only time I wear a mask anymore is if there’s a requirement and I’m chilling so idk how such a high percentage of ufc people are getting it on an almost daily basis

I think its at the point with omicron where its so easily transmissible, it doesn't matter if you mask up, are vaxxed, etc. plus we are pretty much at the peak in the US in terms of cases it sounds like, so kind of worst time right now. Hopefully starts to improve, but yeah I'm losing faith. The watchability of this card went from excellent to awful, especially if Brito is out.

yeah true but like why is everyone ******* getting covid the week of the fight? why cant they get covid in the middle of training camp or at a time that won't jeopardize the fight lol. hopefully omicron slows down soon cuz once we get through January every other month is stacked with fights. cant wait to see banger cards like dariush vs makhachev and ufc 272 get canceled cuz 70% of the card gets through camp no problem and gets covid on fight week
