Islam Makhachev, DEC
Big fan of both here, and think that it could be closer than the odds indicate. Moises is a high level BJJ artist, so I do feel like he can threaten Makhachev early once it hits the floor which will create scrambles and cause Islam to work a little more than he is used too. Hard to go against Islam against anyone other than the very top of the division right now though, and feel like his suffocating pressure will slow noises down. Close on the feet but feel like the threat of the takedown from Islam will nullify thiagos offence which may then not be used effectively. I do still think Moises has a bright future, but Islam should dominate here
Reneau vs. Tate
Marion Reneau, DEC
So unpredictable this one and can’t help but feel like activity is going to play a big role. Reneau is old, but I would much rather trust a 44 year old who is active and is still in very competitive fights against ranked women, than Tate who hasn’t fought in 5 years and may hinder her performance. Can she still implement her wrestling and sub game effectively? Too many questions surrounding tate here to choose her
Gamrot vs. Stephens
Jeremy Stephens, TKO, R2
Don’t think I’m really sold on Gamrot just yet. Gamrot is extremely well rounded and can mix everything up. Him covering his large ML price though will be reliant on him going out there and being able to hit takedowns consistently for all three rounds imo. However, I feel like Gamrot may be willing to strike as we know In Stephens last fight he was KO’d and Gamrot got that clean one himself. Gonna be interesting to see how Jeremy reacts to that weird low single-leg that Gamrot likes to employ. Not that it can’t work but it’s a fairly unorthodox wrestling plan to peruse. If Gamrot wins I can’t see the KO, feel like it’s being spoken about due to their last two results, which I think are irrelevant here considering Stephens has only been fighting the best and is moving back up to 155. Gonna take the shot on Stephens here and feel like he could catch Gamrot in an exchange.
Vieira vs. Stoltzfus
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
Obviously the main question here is what if Vieira gasses out again like he did against Fluffy. I don’t think he will, as he should know that he rushed sub attempts that weren’t there at times which cost him badly. He should be able to get the takedown followed by the tap relatively quickly here though, but he must take his time with the submissions
Quarantillo vs. Benítez
Billy Quarantillo, DEC
Possible fight of the night right here. Billy Q is extremely durable and puts on a pace which I feel will work well against a guy like Benitez. Quarantillo is aggressive, which I think will bold well against moggly who is dangerous with his kicking game. Billy needs to crowd the kicks of Benitez with his pressure, which is what I think will win him the fight as well as him being the tougher guy which is what it may come down too

More in-depth breakdown
Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 380 Points | Tied for 2689th
Islam Makhachev,
Moises should make this some what interesting but I don't see this going much different than the Dober fight if I'm being honest.
Reneau vs. Tate
Miesha Tate, DEC
Might be a split but good chance Tate just out wrestles Reneau.
Gamrot vs. Stephens
Mateusz Gamrot, DEC
I think Gamrot is happy to take a decision here if necessary and just box Stephens up. If he goes head hunting looking for a higlight he could put himself in a really bad spot. He has the fight I.Q to make this a very lopsided fight.
Vieira vs. Stoltzfus
Dustin Stoltzfus
Vieira either wins this in the first 2 minutes by sub or this will be a repeat of his last fight. You can't fix the cardio issue he has over night.
Quarantillo vs. Benítez
Gabriel Benítez
Leg kicks.
Rodriguez vs. Parsons
Daniel Rodriguez
Parsons is legit but this is a crazy ask for your first UFC fight on short notice. Would be wild if he somehow KO's DRod when everyone is expecting a sub.
Lemos vs. Ruiz
Amanda Lemos,
Lemos is legit. Conejo is a scrapper and has a bright future but Lemos on a different level as of right now.
Taha vs. Morozov
Sergey Morozov
Not super impressed with either guy but really didn't like how Taha looked on scale. I think Morozov is the best dog on this card after Stoltzfuz and could see even see him getting a finish.
dos Santos vs. Johns
Miles Johns
Pretty confident in this pick although I think dos Santos makes this fight entertaining. I like Johns by KO/decision as a solid parlay piece (if your book offers bets with multiple avenues to victory that is).
Figueiredo vs. Gordon
Francisco Figueiredo
Gordon looked terrible on the scale. Figgy Jr. doesn't exactly inspire a ton of confidence with a decision win over Jerome Rivera but I think he's got all the tools to beat a guy like Gordon. Could easily see him getting a 1st or 2nd round finish. Gordon looked that bad on the scale.
Nascimento vs. Baudot
Rodrigo Nascimento
I don't think Baudot lands the big shot he needs to get the win here. Nascimento almost certainly gets him to the ground at some point. Sub prop bet here is interesting.

I'd love to take a risk and pick Moises for win - the guy is super technical and is in phenomenal shape every time he fights. Makhachev is on a crazy roll and he can do it all with just the same output. I would not say one is better than the other here, but I am taking a chance on Moises by DEC and I don't care if is an upset - this fighter is worth of all my trust!!!

Miesha Tate, DEC
Tate has been coming back from a retirement of almost 5 years, but in a way this could have brought him benefits to recover psychologically and physically from his losses at UFC 200 and UFC 205 (and all that they meant). Marion Reneau has more regularity when it comes to the pace of the fight, but at 44 she believes that she is far from the best competitive level of her. I doubt Tate will get a TKO or submission but I think she can dominate the fight with takedowns and control.
Vieira vs. Stoltzfus
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
Vieira's defeat against Hernandez had many factors: the first and foremost was Fluffy's heart to survive being ridden and about to be finished by a former ADCC champion, the second was the fact that Vieira had experienced a significant family loss. weeks before the fight this added to the frustration of how he finished the first round left him mentally finished before the start of the second round, and the last factor was the exhaustion that comes with making many attempts at submission in a row that could influence his cardio during that first round. Stoltzfus's main weapons are his wrestling and the ability to try and defend submissions, but I think he has nothing to look for in grappling against Black Belt Hunter, his strategy should be to defend Vieira's attempts to go to the ground and work with his striking . Vieira on the part of him must seek dominance and work on the position before attempting submission.
Lemos vs. Ruiz
Amanda Lemos, DEC
Ruiz's main weapon is the standing scarhold headlock position (where she gets a kind of back take from the clinch), the whole plot of this fight revolves around whether Lemos has prepared to defend the scarhold. De Ruiz reaching the ground could possibly close out the Scarhold choke (one of Aleksei Oleinik's favorite chokes) in the first round, but I think Lemos is more likely to keep the distance connect with his much better striking (taking advantage of his clear advantage in height and reach) getting the Brazilian a clear decision victory.
Nascimento vs. Baudot
Rodrigo Nascimento, SUB, R1
Nascimiento's mistake on the way to his fight against Daukaus was to consider not needing anything besides his grappling to be dominant in the UFC (Those were his statements in the Pre Fight Interview). In Heavyweight one hit can change everything and if Nascimiento thinks to rely entirely on his takedown and submission game without mastering the basics of defense and attack in striking he will have a lot of trouble against experienced fighters. But regarding his Matchup against Baudot I think that if Aspinall (who is mainly striker) could take down and capitalize with ground & pound, then a Grappler like Nascimiento should have no problem getting the takedown dominate from side control and get a victory via Arm-Traingle Choke.

Islam Makhachev, SUB, R4
Gimme Islam late. Step by step.
Reneau vs. Tate
Miesha Tate, DEC
Mmmm. Tate. Although, this one is really interesting if you think about it.... Tate has the longest layoff I've seen, while Reneau is the oldest female here. Reneau is retiring, so yeah.
Gamrot vs. Stephens
Jeremy Stephens, TKO, R2
Gimme the Lil Heathen. Gamrot has holes that Stephens can find if he's not careful.
Vieira vs. Stoltzfus
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
Hmm..... I'll go with the popular pick, but I'm ready to take advantage if Vieira gets cooked again.
Quarantillo vs. Benítez
Billy Quarantillo, DEC
FOTN candidate. Gimme Billy. Volume over violence.
Rodriguez vs. Parsons
Daniel Rodriguez, TKO, R2
Gimme D-rod. His toughness gets us to the later rounds for us to shine.
Lemos vs. Ruiz
Amanda Lemos, TKO, R2
Eh.... Gimme Lemos, but Ruiz is tough.
Taha vs. Morozov
Sergey Morozov, DEC
Gimme Morozov. Umar is a sick opponent.
dos Santos vs. Johns
Miles Johns, DEC
Dos Santos is tough, but if Johns plays it safe, we should be good.
Figueiredo vs. Gordon
Francisco Figueiredo, TKO, R1
Really suspect of X's chin.
Nascimento vs. Baudot
Rodrigo Nascimento, SUB, R1
Gimme Nascimento. He's got the skills.
