Parlays are looking a little rough this week. Islam was a decent anchor at -500, but he's cruising past -700 at this point. I like Daniel Rodriguez, I like Gamrot, Vieira might be a steal at -220 if that last fight was a fluke, which it kinda seemed like. I think either he finishes a submission or fights a little slower. That was a weird scramble where he went all out on four attempts because they were sitting right there.

I made a two week four leg parlay of Rodriguez, Gamrot, Adrian Yanez, and Chris Daukaus at +355.

Over 2.5 is the play here for me. Both pretty durable. Cant believe so few picking dos Santos though. Going to be sweaty for everyone going big on John's. But I'll pick him.

Viera should be fighting at 205 he has no cardio at 185, if Stoltzfus gets out of the first he’ll win

Vieira

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 792nd

For those saying Vieira can fix his cardio, unlikely. His last fight was only 4 months ago. Only thing is was it the weight cut? In that case he could look much better, but he is still likely to gas. Dog or pass in my view. Or else pick Vieira by finish and hedge with Stoltzfus straight

I think we've got to at least be open to the possibility we're jumping to conclusions after that fight. (that said, I'm leaving him out of any bets)

Quarantillo vs. Benítez
Gabriel Benítez, DEC
This is gonna be a banger. Billy Q's best attributes are his volume, pressure and pace that he puts on his opponents. His conditioning is excellent, his toughness is unquestioned and if you are unable to keep up with his pace, he will drown you in that volume and pressure he brings. Benitez is a fantastic kickboxer with a ton of power. His defensive wrestling isnt fantastic but he has a great get up game and he has finished a few fights with that cheeky guillotine of his. I think Benitez has fought and beat the better competition and as long as he looks good on the scale and didnt have a bad weight cut like he did when he was supposed to fight Pearce that Benitez should win this one via decision. Detailed breakdown of all the stats in the attached video. Enjoy.

I'm betting Vieira and I'll have him in a parlay (which I always keep to two) as well as him ITD. I watched a lot of tape of stotzfuz. Not impressed. **** can always go wrong with mma betting I know. There's been a few fights I've seen on Vieira where he didn't so god damn hard on the sub attempts each time and, got the finish late in the second in the case with the (whoever the **** you're on tapology just look at his record) fight. Polish guy I remember that. Honestly, not super impressed by his takedowns as I got into tape. But Dustin just does not look on his level. The dudes tough and may last to a decision (I doubt it) but I'll be damned if he wins this fight. Vieria will be beaten handily as he fights better competition, but this isn't it.

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 1011th

Makhachev vs. Moisés
Islam Makhachev, DEC
50 - 45 dominant performance. I think Islam is good enough to stay on top and not get caught.

Reneau vs. Tate
Miesha Tate, DEC
30-27 Tate was ver good once in her life, I think that’s still in her now even with the 5 year layoff. I respect Marion… but she’s never been called very good, and is near menopause… Tate edges out the hustle and toughness of the “losing streak but active old broad”.

Gamrot vs. Stephens
Mateusz Gamrot, DEC
Stevens carries his power up and might not gas as much at this weight class… but Gamrot is the hot young prospect and is probably a little better everywhere. Wins impressively.

Vieira vs. Stoltzfus
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
Man this was a tough one because of Vieira’s small gas tank. You think he will win early or lose late??? I think he learns from the last fight, takes his future in his hands and overpowers a good opponent.

Quarantillo vs. Benítez
Billy Quarantillo, DEC
Another tough one. I like both guys. I think Billy Q survives the kicks and keeps the fight spacing, positions, distance where he wants it.

Rodriguez vs. Parsons
Daniel Rodriguez, TKO, R1
DRod impressed me last time out. Gonna make this regional kid look bad.

Lemos vs. Ruiz
Montserrat Ruiz, DEC
I’m insane with this pick. Montserrat the “Monster Rat” should not win this fight with her play ground side headlock, she should be kept at distance by a superior longer striker with superior fire power, she should be out classed. But this I women’s MMA and what should happen sometimes doesn’t and she’s south of the border tough, never been finished, and is full on Azteca mindset. She wins a bad judges split decision.

Taha vs. Morozov
Sergey Morozov, DEC
Good 50/50 fight. Feeling Morozov but I’m open to compelling arguments for Taha.

dos Santos vs. Johns
Miles Johns, TKO, R3
Miles Johns is the side. Works boy over.

Figueiredo vs. Gordon
Francisco Figueiredo, TKO, R2
Gordon is athletic but far to chinny for the power of the lesser Figgy.

Nascimento vs. Baudot
Rodrigo Nascimento, SUB, R2
Nascimento’s only way to lose is get caught heavyweight style. He won’t though. He will get it to the ground and ride it out or finish the fight there.

Marion Reneau, DEC
Waiting for the apset, Marion on the go, watching her last fights, which were quite competitive, I think she will be able to stop the takedowns and shoot to win the decision, heck knows what rust got Miesha, why 86% for her ?! her merits and physical form in the past

That's a bad wager. Why take over 2.5 rounds at -210 when you can take fight to complete 2 rounds at the same odds...

Rodriguez vs. Parsons
Daniel Rodriguez, TKO, R2
For as long as this fight lasts I'm expecting a banger. Rodriguez is fun to watch, he's very good at sticking on the outside landing his big punches whilst sliding out the way of counter shots. Parsons will love to press forward and look to drown you against the fence whilst also having very good bjj and solid wrestling too. I think for Parsons he'll have need to use his wrestling a lot more. D Rod isn't going to let him back him up against the cage and unload, he's too skilled for that. Rodriguez can stick on the outside and land some big shots on Parsons and possibly hurt him too

I kinda want Rodrigo to lose so there can be a conga line of 8-2 fighters moving to 9-2 while making a 8-1 fighter 8-2.

Quarantillo vs. Benítez
Billy Quarantillo, DEC
Billy is extremely tough and can put a pace on you which I think he can be successful with against Benitez. Tucker is a hard guy to fight against and Benitez doesn't have that same footwork so Billy Q can have an easier time at pushing his pace. Both guys are going to sustain a lot of damage, we know how dangerous Benitez is with his kicks but if Billy Q can crowd the kicks it takes away Benitez's best weapon. Close fight but I do just see Billy Q out lasting Benitez and being the tougher guy and that's what it's gonna come down to

dos Santos vs. Johns
Anderson dos Santos, SUB, R3
I just love betting on the underdog. Berinja has ended 17 of his professional fights inside the distance-12 of these by submission. I trust him on the stand-up too. He has displayed some heavy hooks and striking ability.

Figueiredo vs. Gordon
Francisco Figueiredo, SUB, R2
X might show some slight improvement since his last fight but that only means surviving a 1st round stoppage. Figueiredo has had some cardio issues in the past but he will KO Gordon before that creeps up again.

Nascimento vs. Baudot
Alan Baudot, TKO, R1
Rodrigo is coming has a recent loss that might mess with his confidence. Baudot is aggressive enough to get a KO.
