Impa Kasanganay, TKO, R3
I don't know if Kasanganay's last decision win was Pitolo being insanely tough and durable, or Kasanganay lack of power, either way, he looks like a tremendous talent to watch.

Cory Sandhagen, TKO, R4
I’m really sad that the bookies got this one right. Ever since they announced this matchup I was anticipating getting Sandhagen at dog money. Sandhagen is the dark horse of this division, I don’t think he’ll ever quite beat Aljo (who I think skill wise is the best Bantamweight by a mile), but I’d take him against Yan and I’ll definitely take him against Morales. Sandhagen is a slick as **** and he has power despite being a bit lanky. Good cardio and good BJJ if he needs to use it, Morales is always live for a KO, but I’m pretty much taking Sandhagen as a lock to jab Moraes into the championship rounds, where we know he quits, then hone in for the standing TKO.
Rothwell vs. Tybura
Marcin Tybura, DEC
Yikes, no bet and I couldn’t tell you who wins this. Maybe a live bet on Marcin because he’s a dog, but I see this as super close to even in terms of readable data. But once they start fighting I expect this fight to be a dominant fight one way or the other as both Marcin and Ben either perform their hearts out, or they **** the bed. I’ll take Marcin since he has more value for betting.
Barboza vs. Amirkhani
Edson Barboza, TKO, R2
Bruh. Poor Edson and poor Makwan. Makwan isn’t Khabib or Kevin, good BJJ doesn’t help unless you have good takedown. Edson has been shucking off bigger and better wrestlers for a decade longer than Makwan has been fighting. Edson by phenomenal KO, maybe knee.
Perez vs. Almeida
Thomas Almeida, TKO, R3
Thomas Almeida is good man, really good. But after those few losses in the UFC he’s lost the dog in him that used to be there. Hopefully he can get that spark back, because he could really be a title challenger in the future.
Nascimento vs. Daukaus
Chris Daukaus, TKO, R2
Daukaus is tough, and has good boxing Rhythm, that’s enough for me to take him over Nascimento. I think Daukaus can keep his ass off the cage wall enough of the fight to wear down Nascimento. He’s got good hips and decent neck attacks so I think he’ll avoid the TDs in the open, and then find a flush punch and proceed into the TKO.
AlQaisi vs. Kelley
Ali AlQaisi, DEC
Ali looked better than I thought he would against Rivera. Definitely wasn’t a split decision, but it was still a good performance. He showed good heart, okay cardio, and a good chin. I think fighting a bit closer to home plays to his advantage and he has a similar fight here, but with different result. I say Alqaisi by close UD or SD.
Chikadze vs. Morales
Omar Morales, TKO, R1
Man, if you haven’t realized yet I have a profound dislike of Giga. He’s not UFC caliber at all, and he’s coasted off of fighting bantamweight and ideal matchups. Unfortunately Morales is also a good matchup for him as I don’t rate Morales as UFC caliber either. The bottom end of the UFC is starting to look a lot like an LFA roster. Hopefully Morales wins, but I’m not confident.
Ulanbekov vs. Silva
Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
Easy enough pick, a blind crackhead could pick this one.
Perez vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R3
Markus is tough, but that’s all I see him having in this fight. I think Markus tries his hardheaded approach that he so often brings to the cage and it ends up getting him slept as the damage accumulates.
Kasanganay vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R1
I’m not sold on Impa, no confidence in this pick. But I’m more impressed with Joaquin watching tape.
Breese vs. Bhullar
Tom Breese, DEC
Don’t care.
Aspinall vs. Baudot
Tom Aspinall, DEC
Also don’t care.
Cortez vs. Egger
Tracy Cortez, SUB, R1
Tracy is pretty good and Egger is not. Nice to see Bantamweight have some budding contenders. Hopefully Cortez can continue to deliver.
Zalal vs. Topuria
Youssef Zalal, TKO, R3
Ilia is good, and this fight will be close. But Zalal big brothers him around the octagon with more powerful strikes and low kicks.

Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
Another one of the fighters from Khabib's circle making his UFC debut. Tagir is of the same mold with a grapple heavy game that will carry him to victory here. This seems like matchmaking made to get him off to a good start. Odds are in the -350 range so that tells you something. I see this fight a a good 1st leg to parlay.
