@HiDefff ". I feel like HW's beyond mid way of round 2 are for the most part a **** show at that point and go to decision."

Yeah pretty much. There are maybe a handful of elite HW's who can go past 2 rounds and still have an entertaining fight.

This card could very well be full of upsets. Besides some very competitive looking bouts like Marlon vs. Sandhagen and Giga vs. Morales, here are some dogs I'm considering:

Nascimento vs. Daukus
Daukus, TKO in R2
This could be a pretty sloppy fight. Daukus might stuff some TD and finish a gassed opponent towards the end of the 2nd.

Breese vs. Bhullar
Bhullar, TKO in R1
I don't see Bhullar winning a DEC here. If he wins, he'll pull it off in the 1st. I could very well see Breese finish him in the 1st too though. Breese might actually surprise plenty if he embraces the different circumstances in this fight and uses them to overcome his often times psychological hindrances.

AlQaisi vs. Kelley
AlQaisi, DEC
Regarding the location one could easily see this favoring the grappler and Kelley losing a split. The odds are way off btw.

Rothwell vs. Tybura
Tybura, DEC
Either Rothwell by TKO in R2/(early)R3 or Tybura by DEC. I'm going with Tybura by DEC, given that Tybura uses his kicks and overall movement. If Tybura ends up somewhat embracing the clinch, he's likely to get caught.

And last but not least...

Zalal vs. Topuria
Topuria, SUB/TKO, R1
Zalal is a promising fighter but Topuria might just overwhelm him here. The first round could be a feeling out process as well but I think Topuria gets him to the ground and uses every ounce of energy he has to get an impressive finish. If he doesn't get it in the first or chooses a calmer approach for his debut, he might lose a DEC here. So either Topuria by SUB/TKO in R1 or Zalal by DEC. After Zalal's last fight I'm not trusting his finishing capability nor his fight IQ. Somewhat surprising if he gets a TKO in the 3rd.

I'ma keep it 100, your underdog picks are terrible
I'll take Tybura...maybe i'll give Daukaus a puncher's chance...even possible he sc****s the decision
but i'd be surprised any one after that wins.

I actually like the fact that he came in that light. It means he’s taking this **** seriously now, and his biggest advantage (speed) just got that more polarized. I think the value is on Daukaus but the favorite should be Nascimento, maybe... -160? But it’s like -250 rn I believe.

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 5 Perfect, 565 Points   |   Tied for 530th

Moraes vs. Sandhagen
Marlon Moraes, SUB, R3
honestly think these lines are a little messed up, but i'm okay with that from a betting perspective and it seems everyone else likes this as their spicy pick too. marlon's bjj is underrated and he can slug it out better if cory can't play sniper. i'll say marlon hurts him and finds a sub, is that too generic?

Barboza vs. Amirkhani
Edson Barboza, DEC
if makwan is smart, he shoots early and tries to grind, but otherwise he probably loses an outside fight just based on volume.

Rothwell vs. Tybura
Marcin Tybura, DEC
ben hasn't been inspiring lately, not that tybura has been, but i don't think he's gonna push enough of a pace to keep marcin back and won't have the ground advantage he may have on others.

Perez vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
i'd pick almost anyone that looked decent over perez, so driscus checks that box, but then again he was submitted by garreth mclellan and even though that's 6 years ago it makes me have serious concerns about his ceiling. i'll still take him to beat an inconsistent perez, but it's very possible he can't finish, gets tired, and gets caught in a choke.

Aspinall vs. Baudot
Tom Aspinall, TKO, R1
seems like aspinall gets another highlight here. just not enough relevant competition.

Zalal vs. Topuria
Youssef Zalal, DEC
this kinda feels like a build-up fight for zalal. ilia seems like he can wrestle well, but i'll trust youssef to mainly stay at range and get up if it goes down.

Breese vs. Bhullar
Tom Breese, DEC
i'm concerned about breese's ability to bounce back after getting tko'd, but he has very clearly fought at a higher level of competition so i still feel comfortable taking him. by decision.

Nascimento vs. Daukaus
Rodrigo Nascimento, SUB, R2
i was gonna take daukaus but he looked tired after just a few minutes with porter so i'll take rodrigo to survive the early storm and finish after.

Kasanganay vs. Buckley
Impa Kasanganay, DEC
i don't have a great reason for this pick other than momentum difference and buckley's extra muscle mass. i'll pick impa to outlast.

AlQaisi vs. Kelley
Ali AlQaisi, DEC
alqaisi's striking is still raw and his chin looks questionable, but he can blanket well and i don't see why he couldn't do that here against a less experienced but older opponent.

Chikadze vs. Morales
Giga Chikadze, DEC
i'll look past tdd concerns and say omar engages giga in the kind of fight he likes.

Cortez vs. Egger
Tracy Cortez, DEC
stealing everyone's pick again. egger seems to be more of a grappler so i'm kinda expecting cortez to be able to push the pace and make it a dogfight.

Ulanbekov vs. Silva
Tagir Ulanbekov, SUB, R2
tagir has fought some decent competition on regionals, silva not so much. i'll take everyone's cool pick of sub.

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 1976th

Moraes vs. Sandhagen
Marlon Moraes, TKO, R2
People fading on Moraes cos of his gas tank issues and backing Sandhagen to Ko him in the 4th or 5th round. To me, that's a big ask. I believe that Moraes' leg kicks will be the key factor here and will probably get the KO in the 2nd round. Giving Moraes, a dangerous KO Artist, the benefit of the doubt that he'll finish the fight before it hits championship rounds.

Barboza vs. Amirkhani
Edson Barboza, TKO, R2
I like both fighters but gotta pick one. To fight Barboza is a big step up in competition for Amirkhani. Can see Barboza defending the takedowns or at least scramble back up early and keep it standing. Barboza by tko in the 2nd round.

Rothwell vs. Tybura
Ben Rothwell, DEC
Rothwell is a huge heavyweight at weighing in at 265. Don't see Tybura taking him down. Besides, Rothwell has a good TD defense. And on the feet, it's Rothwell all day.

Zalal vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, SUB, R1
This is going to be an upset. But if the Moroccan devil wins and goes 4-0 in UFC, it's time he faces some higher ranked opponents.

Changes after the weigh-ins

Predictions: 5 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 390 Points   |   Tied for 2237th

AlQaisi vs. Kelley
Tony Kelly, DEC
After seeing Alqaisi on the scales he looked wasted - and was last to weigh-in. Kelly has cardio as well. It should be close but I didn't like what I saw, therefore I'm jumping ship.

Zalal vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, DEC
Zalal looked Ok at weigh-ins, but Topuria looked awesome, and was super pumped as well. Tough UFC debut but I think he pulls off an upset. I don't like betting against Zalal, especially after how he has been performing, but Topuria seems legit and was beaming, full of energy. I hope I don't regret this.

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 490 Points   |   Tied for 1216th

Moraes vs. Sandhagen
Marlon Moraes, TKO, R2
Don't like Sandhagen, i very much enjoyed watching Sterling choke him out in round 1, i fancy Moraes power to take over here and i can see Sandhagen going to sleep.

Barboza vs. Amirkhani
Makwan Amirkhani, SUB, R2
Barboza is on a skid right now, i fancy the dog Amirkhani taking this to the ground and making him sleep like Danny Henry who has reportedly still not woken up.

Rothwell vs. Tybura
Marcin Tybura, DEC
Boringggggg.

Perez vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, DEC
I really don't like Perez, Du Plessis is a good fighter, think he'll do well in the UFC and should have no issues dispatching Perez.

Aspinall vs. Baudot
Tom Aspinall, TKO, R1
Easy easy pick, Aspinall via first round annilihation.

Zalal vs. Topuria
Youssef Zalal, DEC
Close fight, going with the fighter with UFC experience.

Breese vs. Bhullar
Tom Breese, TKO, R2
I fancy the experience of Breese here to see off the star actor from Slumdog Millionaire.

Nascimento vs. Daukaus
Rodrigo Nascimento, SUB, R1
Nascimento wins by submission for fun, he should have no trouble submitting a fat Daukaus.

Kasanganay vs. Buckley
Impa Kasanganay, DEC
Think this will be closer than the percentages suggest but going to go with the undefeated Kasanganay.

AlQaisi vs. Kelley
Tony Kelley, DEC
Alqaisi just looked like a sewage rat at the weigh ins like he looks seriously unwell.. he also looked seriously poor in his first fight, whereas even though Tony Kelley got the loss against Kai Kamaka he still looked good, i expect him to win this pretty easy, he has a better gas tank and more tools to pick up the victory.

Chikadze vs. Morales
Omar Morales, DEC
Now this is a good fight! Very close call, going to side with Morales though only because Chikadze picked up a few split decisions so far against some not great opponents, i like both fighters here but going to side with Morales but only just.

Cortez vs. Egger
Tracy Cortez, DEC
Couldn't care less.

Ulanbekov vs. Silva
Tagir Ulanbekov, SUB, R1
Khabibs team continue to dominate here. Silva lost his first 2 fights and can't see him getting his first win here however you just never know with this sport.
