Good writeup though. Costa's gas tank looked decent vs Yoel. But def. think you're right at least to trust if it goes to 4th or 5th rd he is in trouble. The thing you don't really say though is how Gastelum was able to hit him and w hard shots. I guess Izzy wasn't too worried about those exchanges and will be more careful. Prob easier for Gastelum to land more shots, but thing is if Costa lands any big shots like Gastelum did it can be over. So wondering if you think he can land anything powerful, but guessing not.

Adesanya V. Costa has the potential to be FOTY, when they say styles make fights this would be a textbook definition of it. Everyone's running with the narrative of Izzy fighting off the back foot and picking his shots and moving, while Costa is going to come in head first and pushing the pace. If that is the case then I think either fighter has a chance to win. To me what it comes down to is a war of attrition, who'll be the fresher fighter going into the 5th. Izzys been to the 5th three times. Costas been to a 3rd round with Romero where he looked pretty good. But in those championship rounds I think Adesanya edges Costa. Izzy by UD.

I agree with you on Ibragimov, but I think there is small chance Diego wins. He's never been subbed and has good tdd. So expect to take place on the feet. Jake is not that impressive standup, is def. younger and better body for sure, prob stronger and faster and this would be a terrible loss. I just think Diego could win in standup vs avg guy and be less surprising then Shana Dobson fight.

This is war
Ricky Martin is gonna push forward, he only knows domination, the ability to make another man quit. He's gonna walk Adesayna down, Adesayna makes errors. If he ****s up, Ricky Martin puts him to sleep. But Ricky Martin is one dimensional, what if this turns in to the **** show that was Yoel vs. Styleguy, it won't
Ricky won't let up on the offense, and Adesanya is a master at counter striking although he is prone to being hit.
This will be fight of the year, this will be a war, you can't deny Ricky, you can't deny Stylebenderguy.

Unpopular oppion, Paula Costa May be overated and deffently not proven. He only really fought Romero, and Hall for respecleble opponent and Romero In my oppion should of won, and Uriah Hall is like 15–8, Think he may be like Ortega after knocking out Edgar and being called the greatest thing since slice bread, Love him or hate him Izzy a lot more proven beating Romero, Bobby knuckle,Brunson, Gastulum, Silva, Tavares And Vettori. think this fight is more then likely going to be similar to Holloway vs Ortega, People need to not bank on Izzy going to get knockout, Izreal only got knockout once in about 115 fight, It 100% possible because it MMA ,but don’t bank on it

No he isn't, all he's saying is that Costa may not be as good as everyone thinks he is (incidentally this is what 'overrated' means )because his best win is Romero and that was debatable at best. It wasn't a robbery but few would have lifted a brow if Yoel had been given it. I had it for Romero. Adesanya might just totally outclass Costa. That's definitely a thing that could happen.

Hahaha Adesanya has not even proven anything yet, he beat mostly old washed up guys, only whitaker was a decent opponent and he fought him coming off an injury. Also fact, Adesanya ran from Romero cause he was afraid to get hit, Costa did not. He actually had balls and fought. Adesanya also got KNTFO in a kickboxing match against some bum. Costa clearly won the fight vs Romero, if you couldn't tell maybe you should stick to watching WWE.

Alex Periera is not a Bum. He's a beast.
I'm picking Costa because I thin k he's ( Izzy) is gonna get marched down against the fence and Teed off on. Romero and Gastelum both had moments when they were able to do this to him and Costa is better than both of them in that capacity combined.
It's quite possible that Adesanya wings around the cage picking him apart however.

I guess its time for me to weigh in..194 well I could make the limit if I needed..
Anyway both are overrated, neither fought the best or certainly most dangerous.
Costa beat the **** out of romero, izzy ran away little else to compare.
Much of izzy early career was cans bums and guppies go look, he fought melvin g at 185 dude was washed up and a lightweight.
Costa appears to have fought lots of cans too, anyone with a perfect record has deal with it.
Both fought short slow welts costa finished his..a former champion, izzy beat up a fat gasbag. "after almost being kod early"
I would bet any decent middleweight champ of old in their prime would beat both, id even give one eyed bisping a 20 percent chance.
Bring on the downvote sad little trolls who can't do simple research and just jump on hypes.

I keep going back and forth on who to pick as the winner. Feels like it changes for me every few days between Costa and Adesanya by (T)KO. Either way I do not see this fight going longer than 2-3 rounds, I don't think it's possible with the way their styles match up

I want to believe you, but alas I believe you're like that spastic the city council hired to mop the platform floor at my local subway. The effort is there, but somehow he just ends up spreading all the **** around, and never seems to get any better.
