Israel Adesanya, TKO, R4
This is a very close fight, both of these guys are extremely dangerous and talented in there own right and it’s a shame that one of them has to lose, I’m not a fan of either of there “trash talking” though as Costa doesn’t make sense half the time and seems to only know two words in English “Skinny Clown” which gets boring after a while... but adesanya isn’t any better, it’s hard to find a 31 year old man that constantly quotes Anime anything other than extremely embarassing....however in terms of fighting this is a very exciting fight, Costa isn’t going to stand and wait like Romero did and adesanya needs someone coming forward to utilise his fighting style so this is sure to be an entertaining fight if nothing else. Costa could for sure come out and spark adesanya unconscious in the first couple of round whilst he’s fresh but if it gets past that point I think it goes downhill. Costa hasn’t fought 5 full rounds before and has had big cardio issues in the past fighting just 3 rounds, he was knackered for the majority of the 3rd round against Romero so if this fight makes it to the championship round then I seriously worry for him as adesanya has proved to be more than capable of fighting a full 25 minutes without great difficulty. I think that adesanya will be very wary of Costa’s power and use his huge 8 inch reach advantage and illusiveness to avoid any big shots in the opening rounds and fight the smart fight allowing Costa to tire. I personally think that after the 3rd round Costa will be a shadow of himself through exhaustion and leave himself open to be absolutely pieced up and adesanya has shown in he past that despite being slender built he still has big power in his hands and is more than capable of turning your lights off, I think he comes with the desire to remind everyone of this after his last fight with Romero. Reyes vs. Błachowicz

Dominick Reyes displayed fully in his extremely close fight with the GOAT Jon Jones that he can compete with the absolute best, his only questionable performance was against Volkan but that was 18 months ago now and the Reyes in that fight compared to the Reyes that fought Jones are like two different people! Jan has power there’s denying that, and he is has clearly improved in recent times but I can’t help but feel that he’s been gifted this title fight a bit down to circumstances in the division but nevertheless he is a decent fighter so cannot be overlooked. Unfortunately for him I just feel like Reyes is better literally everywhere.... he’s a cleaner and more technical striker, faster, better timing, TDD is extremely good and even if the fight hits the mat, I think he would have the advantage. Jan may have a bit more power than Reyes but as McGregor says “precision beats power and timing beats speed” love him or hate him the statement is true. I think Reyes’s speed and timing on his counter striking is going to give Jan big problems and there’s no denying Reyes has power in his punches aswell. I don’t see this going to full 5 rounds, if Reyes cracks Jan with some of the heavy shots he caught Jones with i don’t see Jan being able to eat them the way Jones did so I’m saying Reyes leaves the judges out of this one. Dawodu vs. Tukhugov

This is a pretty hard fight to call, both have routes to victory that are opposite to each others, Hakeem needs to keep the fight on the feet and utilise his striking and reach advantage whereas Zubaira has the advantage on the ground so the winner is really going to be whoever can keep the fight in their superior area and I’m going to side with Dawodu in this one, I prefer him as a fighter and he has shown technical striking that leads me to believe he’s capable enough to outpoint Zubaira on the feet to a Unanimous decision, he also has the slight advantage in the respect of each round begins on the feet which is where he prefers to fight to take place.
