Cifers has signed a new deal because she's the kind of fighter who takes every fight offered and doesn't ask for any more money than what she's told she's getting. She's tough but she's already taken a hell of a lot of damage, no way is she UFC level but Dana likes fighters who shut up and don't ask questions.

@ flying_frontkick Adashev only had a 3-1 record in MMA coming into that fight, but he has a pretty lengthy kickboxing record with a good win loss ratio, also Nam was on a 2 fight skid coming in and would most likely have been cut if he lost last night.
There were some far more lopsided skill levels on the card: Avila/Mazany & Agapova/Cifers for example, Adashev was just careless and dropped his hands on a telegraphed low kick and got punished instantly, personally I felt the other two bouts I mentioned were more painful to watch.

Merab made 10k/10k.    that's a joke. Aguilera made more to debut and Roberson made more for absolutely nothing

@rexatron

Sorry, I disagree. I don't know what background Nam's opponent had, but it does not matter. If he comes from a kickboxing background, whatever, he's competing in MMA. To put a 3-1 fighter against a 18-10 or so is ridiculous. The fights you mentioned they actually HAD MMA background, Cifers was over matched, as well as the other woman but they didn't get KO'd into another dimension.

Look what happened to Saki, just because he came from a kickboxing background means he can hang with the best? Nope, he got put to sleep.

@flying. your argument could be made the other way as well. Look at Adesanya, Reem, WonderBoy, even older ones like Manhoef and Hunt. Nam is experienced sure but how can you turn it down. Its not like they put him in there with some world beater. Hell wonderboys second fight off the regional scene was Matt Brown. Besides Adashev isnt O'Malley. He doesnt get to pick his opponents and get to play the diva card. On top of that Adashevs last 3 fights were in Bellator its not like they called him up from WXC or something.

@ flying_frontkick See above. Also getting KO'd from one well placed punch because of an honest mistake isn't as bad as getting absolutely thrashed, completely dominated with no retaliation or answer whatsoever, just shelling up and melting, at least in my opinion.

@HiDeff

Those guys didn't come in with 3-1 records and literally no MMA training at all. MMA is a lot different than kickboxing, I didn't see anything or any hype about Nam's opponent. Just a guy who got put in there to get smashed.

When was the last time you saw a fighter with a 18-10 record fight a guy who was 3-1 and NEVER showed anything to be great in MMA. Sorry, you aren't making very good comparisons.

Cant argue with someone who's never wrong apparently lol. Saying he has no MMA training but he has multiple Bellator fights and wins is hilarious and where I will end my interactions with you. Cant have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent

Nah, seems like you lost the argument and had to resort to childish insults. I feel pretty confident you lost the argument, and as most people weak minded people do, insult me and then fear that Gregory will tap you out for saying something so petty? Takes more than that.

I understand you gave up the argument because you knew you were wrong, and most people can't accept that so they hurl insults while covering up in their turtle shell. Have fun.

If you knew you were right, you would have agreed to disagree. Instead you got frustrated and got angered.

Again you said the guy has no MMA training yet he has 5 MMA fights. Please elaborate how he got to Bellator and UFC without any training. I'll wait? Say something logical and maybe you could get someone to engage in a logical debate. Discrediting a guy buy saying hes never even trained in the sport that hes a professional in is nothing other than ********.

3-1 vs. a 18-10 MMA fighter and you still don't get it, that doesn't mean he's prepared for MMA. That experience vs. his experience in MMA, and you still don't get it. It was a mismatch, and you can't seem to comprehend that.

You don't think 18-10 vs a 3-1 (which is what this is about) is a mismatch. Keep living the dream.

If that's your argument then you have a lot of making up to do with it. So when they put a 3-2 Sijara Eubanks in there with a 22-14 Roxanne Modafferi, was that not the same type of mismatch. Judging by your logic of the only thing that matters is experience then why weren't you crying about that one? or the countless others the exact same way? Or is it only a mismatch cause he lost? inexperienced guys fight experienced guys all the time? its kinda how the sport works. You argument has no legs to stand on. If everyone fought people with the same level of experience or record it would be pretty boring. This is literally how you make your name in the game. I don't understand why this is so hard for you to grasp?

And then where is the line? whats considered in your little nugget as too much experience to fight an inexperienced person? whats the Number? Anthony Ivy had less than half the fights that Aguilera did and you sure picked him. seems like he had less experience though? whats the difference? what is your number that makes it wrong?

My two cents: It was a guppy feed made in a time when it's all UFC can do to get warm bodies in the cage. That said, nobody had a gun to Mr 3-1's head. He signed the dotted line.
