If I was Claudia I'd refuse the fight. But she doesn't strike me as smart either.

Not to mention **** smoking dana would hold a grudge and **** her over for it as soon as he gets the chance.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 1053rd

Barber vs. Modafferi
Maycee Barber, DEC
Man. Is the UFC trying to test out just how durable Roxi Modaferri is? I'll tell you, Roxie is probably one of the more durable ladies, she can definitely take a goood shellacking, but she's gonna get ******* brutalized by Barber. Roxie is at a disadvantage in every single aspect of this fight. Her ONLY saving grace is that she can take a beating like a man. And that's a scary thought. How badd of a beating will she take before it's called off...

Elliott vs. Askarov
Askar Askarov, DEC
This fight kinda seems to be flying under the radar a little. Not alotta ppl talking about it, atleast outta my circle. But I'm looking forward to the scrambles. You know there's gonna be some wild scrambles. And win or lose, Elliott is never in a boring fight. But there's one thing I've ALWAYS noticed with Elliott and so far, has yet to fix - he's constantly sticking his neck out. He leads with his head very often. And that could be a major mistake to do with Askarov. If Elliott continues doing that, he'll get submitted by guillotine.

Haqparast vs. Dober
Nasrat Haqparast, DEC
I'm looking forward to this fight so badly.. BIGTIME FAN of Nasrat "Baby Gastelum" Haqparast. I just enjoy watching him. I see future contender in Haqparast. And you see how skilled he is already. The kid is only 24! He's not even in his prime yet and he's already got this real nastiness in him. Wait till he's got his "grown man strength" & he'll be an absolute terror. And Drew Dober is a fantastic dance partner for Nasrat. He'll actually come forward and welcome striking exchanges. Potential "Fight of the Night" here ...

Camur vs. Ledet
Aleksa Camur, DEC
What happened to this guy. I remember ppl talking about Ledet when he made his debut. He won 3 straight, but honestly ALMOST lost a split decision due to pure inactivity to Zu Anyanwu . And then got crushed by top 5 opposition the last 2. When he's at his best, I could see Ledet easily winning this fight by just using his pretty significant height and reach advantage, and pumping his jab for 15 mins & using movement to avoid Camur's big right hand.. But considering that Ledet hasn't looked good since before the Anyanwu fight, which was 3+ years ago, annnd he's coming off his 1st career KO loss to the then hypetrain Johnny Walker, whoooo knows what version we'll get. And I feel more confident in banking on Camur & his Golden Gloves background, to find the "off switch" on Ledet.

Osbourne vs. Kelleher
Ode Osbourne, DEC
Usually a guy making his debut against a guy with 25+ fights and coming off 2 horrid losses is a feature fight, but It's also a crossroads, make or break fight for Boom Kelleher. Believe it's his last fight on his contract, so what better way to right the ship, than taking out an incoming prospect & one of DWCS contract winner's? They normally get favorable Matchups, & Kelleher very well could be a favorable matchup. But from what I've seen of Ode, Kelleher "COULD" pose some real problems for him. Although he is quick, dynamic, kinda flashy on the feet - his striking defense is shabby. He holds his hands very low. Annnd he also tends to end up on his back. Kelleher could grind him out for a gritty, but boring decision, but...... That won't help his cause for a new contract. So I'm kinda thinking Kelleher will fight with alotta urgency, and could get sloppy in his technique & Osbourne ends up capitalizing on it and finishing the fight.

Mazo vs. Aldrich
JJ Aldrich, DEC
I was originally taking Mazo here, based on the fact that "I thought" these ladies were literally about even skill wise, and Mazo has a slight height/reach advantage. But then I rewatched Aldrich vs. Barber. JJ Aldrich gave Maycee Barber her toughest fight to date, and that's gotta mean something right? And then you compare records..... Mazo doesn't even really have any good wins. Just those 2 head kick KO's & that's it. Aldrich has fought wayyyy better competition and has 10 amateur fights beforehand. Aldrich should probably be the favorite here.

Probly comes down to what 30% of her purse adds up to to help make it worth it. and if they managed to get fight of the night she would get her 50k and Grasso 50k as well for her missing weight. Like Tristan Connelly got for FOTN with Pereira. could turn out better for her in the long run if all the cards play out in her favor.

yea i agree 30% is not enough. But im not sure i agree with 100% either. I'd say 50% is a good spot. miss weight lose half your show money and no win money if you do win.

Grasso-Gadelha is off. Apparently NSAC doesn't allow that big a difference in weight for strawweights.

@oh fiddle sticks. i originally thought the same thing so i went back and looked at some numbers. since January 2018 so 2 year span we've had 8 Women miss weight in the UFC. they've gone 4-4. four of them missed by 5 lbs or more. They went 2-2. i wanted to know if there was some correlation we could take from women missing weight but it looks like its pretty even right down the middle. Im not sure im going to change my pick. Sticking with Claudia

this link breaks the missed weights down very well. win% ROI% and a few other things if you wanna check it out. I know a year or so ago it seemed like everyone who missed weight won. or at least thats how it felt to me.

@meers crazy how strawweight makes such a big difference lol UFC 245 Eye missed by 5 lbs but since they we're at 125 instead of 115 it didn't matter. seems pretty weird

@HiDefff, yeah I don't get the difference really. But it's the NSAC so who the hell knows. That was going to be a good fight, so I bummed it's off. Yusuff-Fili should be the replacement on the main card if you ask me.

discipline. all weight cutting is discipline. whether thats discipline in your diet or lifestyle or your weight cut. If you've been doing it this long it all boils down to discipline. Im sure the aunt Flo excuse will be the first thing we hear as to why she missed. But even then plenty of women do the cut with those same problems. Discipline!!!!!  or hanging out with Andy Jr too much lol one or the other
