Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 365 Points   |   361st Place

this card is F'in sick. Although it'd rather the Marvin vs Tugman fight be the dark bout instead of bessette. if I knew that Costa and marvins fights were the first two, which they likely aren't I'd probably show up to the arena late.

Huge fan of Diekmann vs Butler. I'm also looking forward to McGeary's breakout fight.

Diekmann vs Butler is gonna be some high quality violence. I still think Newton will be too much for McGeary though. 9-0 fighting a top 10 fighter. But chandler did it so I'm not counting him out by any means. Newton is just very hard to prepare for and has a nack for coming back and winning fights

McGeary has a huge reach, speed, and power advantage. I also refuse to believe that Newton is better on the ground until I see it go down. Newton is sneaky and difficult to put away though, so I won't count him out.

I don't like Newton's chances here at all even though I'm a big fan. McGeary has an even bigger total reach and height advantage over Newton than Vassell did and Newton had a lot of trouble in that fight. McGeary also has a lot more power in the standup.

I disagree. I just see no way for Newton to win. He can let McGeary tag him from a distance... He can come in and get counter derp'ed even by an evading McGeary because he has that kind of power and accuracy, even if Newton gets the take down BOOM jitz'd right in the feels. That's just my technical breakdown on the matter, of course.

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 365 Points   |   361st Place

But there's just no way for McGeary to match the experience that Newton brings to him in the cage. Newton has the universe behind him. Def one of the most intriguing fights of the year

My only question with Newton vs McGeary is if the fight goes past the first couple rounds. If the fight goes into the 3rd, 4th, or 5th round we know Newton can keep up but can McGeary. He's finished every opponent he's faced so we don't really know how his cardio is. Maybe all Newton has to do is survive early.

this is a solid card, it will probably be better than the butchered UFC 184. Can't wait to see Daley bite the dust again.

it's cool you've added rankings

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 365 Points   |   361st Place

and most of them are relatively good but Newton NOT in the top 10 is a travesty. Dudes criminally underrated. He's at the very least number 10. #12 is waay too low.

I think Newton will win this in the 4th or 5th round. I have not seen McGeary take much punishment so idk if he can go 4 or 5 rounds vs the elusive Newrton.

He's #13 on your rankings now. Should be 10 at the absolute lowest.

Anyways anyone watch the countdown show? Newton seems fired up. Never seen him like this before. Predicted a first round finish of McGeary

I think he should be just outside the ten spot. He's on a really good streak, even avenging his last loss. I just think it's more about his opposition. I mean wins against King Mo, Linton Vassel, and Joey Beltran are really good, but if he had beaten Rampage, Tito, or hell maybe even Bonnar I don't think anyone would say he didn't deserve a top ten spot.

Now I can actually leave after the main event. No disrespect to those guys.but with all the fights I would have seen before it I see no reason to stay for it.

He got held down for almost an entire round by Kelly Anderson, yes he won a tournament, but who has he fought?

Who had Linton Vassell fought that made people believe he was gonna dominate Newton for 5 rounds before getting sloppy and getting finished? Newton is overrated. He's tough as **** and knows how to fight his way out bad positions, but both Beltran and Vassell were beating him before they got finished. McGeary won't make mistakes the way those two did.

hmm

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 365 Points   |   361st Place

I wouldn't go as far to say Linton was dominating, I don't even think he was winning the fight in the 5th. Newton was winning the standup but he wanted to beat him on the ground. So he did. Beltran was beating Newton though. Have to take into account newton didn't eat a thing that day but Beltran is a ****** stylistic match for him. Either way he put him OUT! Newton is extremely underrated. I'm not schilling for him but I got him pegged to beat Liam. I'm a big Liam fan and I think he might even get finished.
