Because Cormier is overrated. He isn't eve na good wrestler. All his 'credentials/accomplishments' were just paid for.

High schools and community colleges provide top dollar for wrestlers nowadays. They didn't want to fall behind the times what with the amount of NCAA teams pulling in sanctions for funding student athletes. All that stuff at OK State was fixed PRIDE style.

Jones and Weidman have never been taken down...i thought. So why aren't they listed on that fight metric?

@Seth Well fight metric says this,


"~minimum 5 UFC fights and 20 takedown attempts by opponents (Defense refers to the percentage of opponents' attempts that do not land)"

so I'm guessing there hasn't been 20 actual attempts to take either of them down

GSP and it's not even close. Chucks and Cro Cop had great sprawls but what helped them was their striking, it put the fear in people so they'd telegraph their shots but when someone wasn't afraid and got deep on them, they went down. 

obviously their TDD was still really good but GSP's is absolute elite.
