1
- Jiří Procházka
- "BJP"
- 30-4-1
-
He's the UFC champ. Already more than 30 fights and he's just now entering his prime. He's got some tough challenges ahead of him, but now that Jones has left the division, I think Prochazka has the potential to become a super champ.
-
2
- Glover Teixeira
- 33-9-0
-
Despite his age, he's still doing well. Put on the fight of the year in his last fight, and somehow his chin has gotten stronger since those losses to Rumble and Gustafsson. I don't think he sticks around much longer, especially if he gets finished again, but for now he's a solid #2.

3
- Magomed Ankalaev
- 19-1-1, 1 NC
-
I still think Magomed is super underrated. Love this guy's fighting style, even though it can produce some less than exciting performances against Santos and Krylov. He's got all the skills to become a champion, but he hasn't made it there yet. He's got at least another fight before he fights for a belt, and he also has the potential to become a super champ.

- Jan Błachowicz
- 29-10-1

Love Blachowicz. Met this guy in Vegas before UFC 276. While he may be entering his twilight years in the sport, he's still looking good aside from that Teixeira fight. Beating Adesanya and doing it primarily with his striking is enough of a reason to place him high here, even though Izzy's a middleweight. Super underrated skill set, best feel-good story of 2019-2020, I think Jan's great.

- Aleksandar Rakić
- "Rocket"
- 14-4-0

I remember when this guy KO'd Jimi Manuwa in Sweden. Sadly Rakic has not captured that excitement since then, but I can't deny he's a good fighter. We will have to wait a while for his next fight due to his injury, but I think that proposed matchup with Jamahal Hill hss the potential for fireworks. A good fighter, sadly with boring fights.

- Jamahal Hill
- "Sweet Dreams"
- 12-2-0, 1 NC
-
I'm not the biggest fan of this guy, but I can't deny that he's good. HUGE power which makes up for his still somewhat untested ground game. His gas tank is good enough to get him through fights, even if he was slowing down in those later rounds of the Santos fight. The Paul Craig will probably leave his ground game to always be questionable, but with the massive equalizer that is his punching power, I think he'll stay at least in the top 10 for a good while.

- Anthony Smith
- "Lionheart"
- 38-19-0
-
Anthony's time in the rankings may be coming some time soon. Aside from filler fights against Devin Clark and Ryan Spann, Smith has not looked all that impressive in his last few fights. Granted, he is getting a little old, but he still maintains his ranking due to the good will he built up with his run in 2018 and win over Gustafsson in 2019. Not much to say other than he's probably on the decline.

8
- Volkan Oezdemir
- "No Time"
- 19-7-0
-
If Volkan was more consistent in terms of fights, I think we could have a better impression as to how good he really is in comparison to the rest of the fighters on here. With him essentially being restricted to fighting outside of America since his title fight against Cormier, he really hasn't fought super often, only fighting five times in the past four years. True, he has had some good wins against guys like Paul Craig and Rakic, but the losses to Magomed, Jiri, and especially Anthony Smith prevent him from ranking higher.

- Dominick Reyes
- "The Devastator"
- 12-4-0
-
Oof, where do I even start with this guy. It is sad that he hasn't competed in so long, and his losses have not been against scrubs, but the lack of fights and brutal ways he's been finished since the Jones fight just hold him back. He really should be ranked higher, but because he's been on the bench for so long, other guys have accomplished more than he has. To add onto that, he's been questioning his will to continue in the sport. I do hope he wins his comeback fight against Ryan Spann, otherwise we may be seeing the end of his UFC journey.

10
- Paul Craig
- "Bearjew"
- 17-8-1
-
So I know a lot of people don't like this guy because he fights really boring, which he usually does if he doesn't submit his opponent in round one. That being said, you can't really deny him a ranking because he has beaten some legit guys like Krylov and Jamahal Hill (and Ankalaev but he was getting destroyed until the last second). The only thing I'm suspicious about with Craig is how long he's going to be able to fight like he does. He's one of those "take one to give one" kind of fighters, and at some point he's not going to be able to survive the shot that drops him. Only time will tell, but for now he's #10.

- Corey Anderson
- "Overtime" | 18-6-0, 1 NC
-
Another super underrated guy here. I'm still not quite sure why Anderson left the UFC when he did. I personally didn't see the Blachowicz loss as a huge setback, and I think he would generating way more buzz if he stuck around fighting the new crop of light heavyweights in the UFC rather than the frankly aging core of Bellator's 205 division. With Corey now being in the "B League" we'll never really know how he would stack up against the current top guys in the UFC, but I think his accomplishments still deserve recognition.

12
- Nikita Krylov
- "The Miner" | 30-9-0
-
The little gatekeeper that could. Krylov has been around in the UFC for a long time, but he's done enough to keep himself a tough matchup for anybody coming up in the rankings. Fair play in losing to Magomed, Blachowicz, and Glover, no shame. He's looked good against Johnny Walker and especially against Gustafsson as of recent, but he hasn't had that win to launch him up into the rankings. Depending on how he looks against Oezdemir, Krylov could end up higher in these rankings.
