And before you say “the ufc is setting up Jarno for a win”, please remember this is in Singapore; they found one of the worst guys possible to try and save Choi’s career.
Ufc has never wanted jarno in the first place. They signed him because gomis needed an opponent for ufc france. Furthermore, he wasn’t even their first option; the ufc had to make that fight to fill spots on the card

If the ufc didn’t want choi around they would’ve cut him after the trizano fight (they cut trizano but not choi). They are trying to get him a win in “home” territory. They matched him up with essentially a regional fighter to see if he is ufc level still or not
