I dropped it and then you brought it back up again by “making a joke” and trying to deflect by saying “bro who even cares” when someone engages with your opinion lol. I’m upset because people like you who have never fought or trained at all say crazy **** like a fighter is a ***** if he doesn’t accept a fight against an opponent who missed weight lol

I wrestled all the way through college. You know what happens in wrestling when your opponent misses weight? You get an automatic win and your team gets the most points they can possibly get for a win. Missing weight in combat sports matters a lot whether you think it does or not. I would have loved Wonderboy to take the fight anyway and school the guy who was unprofessional and didn’t hold up his end, and I think he probably would have done that if he accepted. But it’s super crazy to ever blame anyone except the guy who actually missed weight for the fight not happening.

I actually think pretty highly of your opinion on most things in the fight game but that’s why I was off put by your comment and said something.

where is this narrative that pereira didnt try to make weight and missed on purpose coming from? did you guys watch the weigh ins? did you see that pereira looked ******* awful and was as drained as it gets on the scales?

matter of the fact is: wonderboy was given a favorable matchup against a striker who has really bad cardio to begin with and now even worse cardio at elevation and a terrible weight cut. even under all those circumstances which are super advantageous for wonderboy, he STILL declined to take the fight. personally? this whole diva attitude from wonderboy that he's trying to mask by being the "funny nice guy" is rubbing me off the wrong way, you guys can make of this situation what you will

You can make objective criticisms of any fighters you want, I do it all the time and very harshly. But when people who type on their keyboard call a fighter a ***** for not willingly putting himself at a disadvantage by accepting a weight miss opponent, and they’re serious about that opinion, it’s a bad opinion lol.
