Does giving the BMF belt to the winner of Gaethje v Poirier de facto makes Oliveira the BMF champ?

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 2784th

Poirier vs. Gaethje II
Justin Gaethje, DEC
Sick fight. Gaethje improved a bit more than Poirier since the first time, but I'm not sure it will be enough.

Błachowicz vs. Pereira
Jan Błachowicz, DEC
Beautiful fight. Blachowicz has the best kick checks in all the UFC, and seems to hurt every opponent he faces with that. I think he can dominates that fight with his well rounded game, if he doesn't get caught like in the Thiago Santos débacle.

Thompson vs. Pereira
Michel Pereira, DEC
It looks fun on paper, but Pereira, while he's clearly an inferior striker, has the ability to drag this to the ground if needed. A Thompson KO win is a strong possibility, but I won't be surprised if Pereira wins a smart but unspectacular decision with his underestimated wrestling skills.

Lewis vs. Rogério de Lima
Marcos Rogério de Lima, DEC
Lewis only wins against white american cops nowadays.

Ferguson vs. Green
Tony Ferguson, DEC
Reasonnable match up. Despite his ugly losing streak, I don't think Ferguson is completely done as a fighter, and while he clearly lost a step, (as his losses vs Gaethje, Oliveira and Dariush suggests) he can still some fights in the UFC, even in the top 15 : he even looked like his usual self for one round and a half against Chandler, winning the first round before getting caught by that KO of the year that would have ended anybody. And the Nate Diaz fight was competitive. For his part, it's been a while since we've seen Bobby Green shine in the cage, and he was even losing the majority of the exchanges vs the mediocre Jared Gordon before that illegal blow led to a no contest. I'm not confident in my pick at all, but I can try a last Ferguson Hourra here...

Chiesa vs. Holland
Kevin Holland, TKO, R3
Fun and intriguing match up. Chiesa could very well drag this into an ugly grappling affair, but I can't help but think about size and strenght... Chiesa used to be a lightweight, and Holland a middleweight. I think he will be tough to takedown and to grind. Holland by tKO.

Błachowicz vs. Pereira
Jan Błachowicz
There's 1% chance that Alex wins this fight if he's able to keep the fight standup on feet. There are 99% chances that Jan Blachowicz loses this fight if he keeps his ego and wants to destroy Alex on feet. Izzy and Alex are highest levels of kickboxers who did that their entire lives. If Jan Blachowicz is intelligent, he wouldn't want to make this a stand-up fight, only if he has ego, he will do that. I do not want to be a casual fan. Jan should not drop his guard against this guy. He should take down this guy as soon as possible. But if he rushes and somehow Alex manages to escape out of the takedown attempts, Jan is going to sleep. That's just one possibility. Just because of that, I cannot select Alex. It would be like praying that please please please land that shot. No. Jan is a better MMA fighter than Alex. Yeah, he's not a better kickboxer, but he's definitely a mixed martial artist. If Jon Jones can dominate Ciryl Game like a newbie in the sport, Alex is no different. All it takes is right training and coach. This is going to be exciting fight. I can change my prediction later because I still have doubts on Jan. This will be a test for him and if Alex beats him, title baby.

Idk at this point im panicking, Jan can do this. But even if he loses this one and retires, no matter what Gamrot, Oleksiejczuk or Tybura do. Jest tylko jeden bohater w Polskim MMA i ma na imię Jan Błachowicz

Poirier vs. Gaethje II
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R4
I think Poirier wins by late round TKO.

Błachowicz vs. Pereira
Jan Błachowicz, DEC
If Blachowicz uses his wresling, he wins this fight.

Costa vs. Aliskerov
Ikram Aliskerov, DEC
I think Aliskerov pulls off the upset.

Thompson vs. Pereira
Stephen Thompson, DEC
I think Stephen Thompson wins with his superior striking technique.

Lewis vs. Rogério de Lima
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R2
I think Derrick Lewis wins by vicious knockout.

Ferguson vs. Green
Tony Ferguson, DEC
If Tony Ferguson doesn't win this fight, he should retire.

Chiesa vs. Holland
Michael Chiesa, SUB, R2
I think Chiesa pulls off the upset with his grappling skills.

Poirier vs. Gaethje 2
Justin Gaethje, TKO R3
Gaethje has improved alot but I would pick Poirier but with it being in Salt Lake I'm going Gaethje

Blachowicz vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO R1
This is a pick of heart, I love Poatan. If Jan uses grappling he can win where, I also don't like how quick of a turnaround it is for Poatan. Plz Poatan just win.

Costa vs. Aliskerov
Paulo Costa, TKO R1
Another fighter I love on this card. I don't think Ikram will be able to ragdoll Paulo and Paulo is alot better on the feet.

Thompson vs. Pereira
Steven Thompson, DEC
Another fighter on this card I love, I think he wins, his striking is alot better, Pereira is wild and Thompson could just pick him apart. Michel grapple ******* him is also a possibility.

Lewis vs. Rogério de Lima
Derrick Lewis, TKO R1
Sorry Matt Brown the goat is getting his KO record back.

Ferguson vs. Green
Tony Ferguson, DEC
Plz Tony plz

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 465 Points   |   Tied for 3007th

Poirier vs. Gaethje II
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R4
Poirer gonna do what he did to Gaethje last time they fought. Dustin might even jump a gilly

Błachowicz vs. Pereira
Jan Błachowicz, DEC
If Jan is smart he'll grapple as much as possible

Costa vs. Aliskerov
Paulo Costa, TKO, R3
Early lean is Costa but might change my mind later, especially during fight week bc Costa might come in heavy

Thompson vs. Pereira
Stephen Thompson, DEC
Thompson is going to pick him apart from the outside and plus Pereira definitely gonna gas out in Utah

Lewis vs. Rogério de Lima
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R1
The Black Beast will have the KO record once again, sorry Matt Brown

Vergara vs. Salvador
CJ Vergara, TKO, R2
Vergara should repeat almost everything from the Lacerda fight, just don't take the ass beating in the 1st to win in the 2nd

Ferguson vs. Green
Bobby Green, TKO, R2
I love watching Tony fight but he ain't been the same since Gaethje fight. If he loses this one I think Dana is going to give him his walking papers

Chiesa vs. Holland
Kevin Holland, SUB, R2
If Luque can sub Chiesa with a D'arce I'm sure that Holland can too lol. Might change to KO later

Ikram has more questionable cardio than Costa. And, offensively, Aliskerov's wrestling isn't all that impressive. I don't think he'll have much success taking Costa down, I believe this fight will be fought mostly on the feet.
